I agree, Clara. My friends think I am cheesy because I am always telling stories about my pets. I think about them through the day just as much as I think about my husband and son. I always send pictures to my mom in law because she lives in Missouri. It'd just dawned on me the other day that I send her far more pictures of our pets then ourselves. I'd say only 1 out of 10 pics are actually of us. She's an animal lover too, so she never mentioned it to me. hehe. If it weren't for my love of animals, I would have lived for the rest of my life in an apartment. They have no yard to care for and take 1/4 the time to clean. I too, bought a house just so I could have animals.

My husband Kit and I live in a small town on the Olympic Peninsula, Port Townsend, WA.
We are both in the music industry making tour itineraries (The Book of Lies) and passes for muscians, event planning and marketing. Kit is also a web designer ... Basically if it will keep the Fur-Kids in toys and treats... we will do it.

We are proudly owned by 1 VERY spoiled LOUD 4 year old Pembroke Corgi LOUD Louie and 2 precious Meezer Kitties. Mocha Bean ( Daddy's Little Princess) and Garbonzo Bean.

Hello, my name is Heather Perry. I am 19y.o. and in college for a bachelors degree. I am majoring in Science to be a vet.
I live in manhattan, new york (city) and love it. I love everything except traffic. lol
My Family:
I have a brother, a mom, a dad, and pets. My brother is named Josh, and is 6y.o. He follows my interest in animals, and drawing. he is surprisingly good in art for being a 6yo! He said that he wants to be an electrician, or a policeman. I have a mom, Rhonda, she is a Nurse at Pleasant View, a nursing home. My dad, Chris is an electrician he worx in DC. My parents and my brother all live in a little developing city called Frederick Maryland. Oh, and They have a pet(chihuahua) named Mercy. They are currently taking care of my 2 OTHER pets, Lady(Border Collie) and Kitty(my kitten) You can find them in other posts(I mention them often).
My pets:
I have a border collie/lab mix named Maggie...I am sure you have heard of her. She is going on 4 in August. She lives with me in my dinky apartment in Manhattan, a really busy huge full of traffic pain in the butt city in NY. She loves it here, and she loves me.lol. I got maggie at a shelter about 3 yrs ago here in NYC. Ever since she has been my bestest buddy. Lady, she is my pure bred BC, and she is also 3. I have to give her to my parents over the summer, along with Kitty(my kitten) for a reason that is none of your business(nothing related to animals). So yeah thats my pets...
Life:
I am currently beginning my second year of college for my bachelors degree. I am 19. I am a female...lol...I live in NYC. I am semi enjoying my last days as a teenager. I have a boyfriend that is 19. His name is mike. I am having much luck along the way. Healthy happy relationship. Hope it turns out well...
Me:
I love animals. I have red hair, ice blue eyes(cuzz of my contacts), I am 5'7, and light in wieght for my age, lol. Yeah I am scary. Oh, and I have braces. Yeah I am old for braces. I have a disease...style, I have to have style or I won't wear clothes at all(scary thought) I have expensive new york/chicago style. Yeah I am weird.... uuhhhgg, I have am wonderful to be friends with. I love people that are funny, trustworhy, and will aLwAyZ be there for me. So far life is gr-8. and it feels like I am collecting more friends herein PT.
My HObbbies:
soccer, animals (DEFINETLY), watching tv, surfing on the internet,takling on PT, and on IM. helping animals. drawing (I can show you some of my crappy drawing s later.) thats pretty much all!

My name is Anna, I'm 37 and have been married to the same wonderful man (Mark) for the last 16 (going on 17 Oct. 31-yep, we got married on Halloween!) years.
I live in Piqua (Pik-wa) Ohio, not too exciting of a town, but I call it home;)

I'm gonna say some stuff I haven't really mentionned before.

My name is Liana and I'm 16 years old living in Quebec, Canada with my three pets and family of 6. I love to draw, lisen to music, belch out songs until I crack the windows, and spend time with my pets, friends and family. I don't have a particular style, I just wear whatever is comfortable But while I'm in school, I wear the mandatory school uniform that our new principal assigned. (yech!)
I have two main dislikes, hypocrites and posers (people who act or try to be who they aren't). I love my friends, they are the best. I have had a lot of trouble and problems with past friends over the years but now I realize the ones that are the best people don't have to be the most popular or stylish or pretty ones. Personality outrules it all (for me anyways). I have had the same best friend for over 7 years (at least) and we are just two nuts, always laughing or having a good time. I love to make my friends laugh and spend time with them. :cool:

The reason I love my baby so much is because he is what I have wanted since I wanted a dog. He's always there for me and he's just got an amazing personality that makes him different than a lot of other dogs. My birds are great too, don't get me wrong, but Mickey is the dog that I have always wanted. ;)

How did I find PT? It goes way back to when I visited Florida one summer and bought this puppy calendar from DogFancy. I decided to check to see if they had a website and they did. I joined the board and some girl brought up the PT URL and explained about it. Of course, she said only but good things (except that she got banned from it because she registered under many names :rolleyes: ) and then a bunch of DogFancy members told her off because she was advertising another board but that's another story ;) Anyways, I checked it out and then joined!

My name is Renee and I'm 37 yrs. old. Man I'm getting old!!:( I am owned by my husband(Mike) and of course Cisco. We do'nt have any childeren , but I like to hang with my nephews alot. I used to have a couple of cats named Kitty,Kitty and Mouse, but they have both gone to RB. I was able to see Mouse born and held her when she died. Well, I guess I could go on, but better stop.! :)

I found this site on www.iwon.com I think I was looking for dog pics and found dog of the day. Visited it a couple time. Bookmarked it, then clicked on the Pet Talk link, and the rest as they say is history.
I first found this site as a place where I could talk about My beloved greyhound, Shaianne (RB 2 years in Sept- miss you fancy face). It was b/c of her I found this wonderful site. And for that I am always greatful!

We're from NW Ohio originally and I'm the sister of Amy, Cincy'smom, and the daughter of Diana, 4 Dog Mother! I've got an associates in accounting but I'm currently working as a clerk for a local community college due to the lack of jobs in the area.

My name is Souraya (like Mariah with an "s") and I am 23. I have been married to Andrew, an Army pilot, for 2 years. We are currently stationed at Ft. Rucker, AL. I am a network administrator and programmer. Andrew and I are owned by one GSD/Wolf hybrid, Drake. In addition to my job, I volunteer at the local animal shelter, coach a rowing crew, and mentor teenage girls with eating disorders!

I'm Alyson, 24 yrs old, live in Austin, TX.

As most of you know, I have 2 dogs, a cat, some fishies, and a foster dog who doesn't look like she's going anywhere anytime soon. I also have 2 foster kittens at the moment.

My life pretty much consists of working with animals and finishing school. I work at the Central Texas SPCA and volunteer at the Austin Humane Society, both no-kill shelters. I also do a lot of fostering, transports, temp testing, behavioral modification, etc etc. I have been doing internships with several trainers in my area. I co-teach an obedience class with one of my trainer friends and its a lot of fun. In the fall, I will be starting my own class also! I'm excited.

My dream is to open my own shelter. I want it to be huge and concentrating on the comfort levels and stress reduction of the animals. I also want to have an obedience part of it where I offer classes to the public and also take shelter animals through. And I think a neat idea would be to have a therapy part where I can put the most well behaved animals and have under privilaged kids who can't have their own pets come interact with them.
