Okay this is a long story, but I'll try to make it short. First let me tell you the names of my dogs and the breed. Both of them are boxers:Roxy and Rebel. I got Roxy for Christmas of '99. My boyfriend gave me a choice between her or a 2 carat diamond ring. Guess who I chose....Roxy. Roxy is brindle with white markings and a black mask. She has a docked tail and cropped ears. She was "an only child" up until early February. That's when my boyfriend bought me Rebel. Rebel is solid white. He has natural ears and a docked tail. He looked like the pilsbury doe boy when he was little. At first Roxy didn't like him, but eventually she got used to him. She would put him through hell all day long, ie. knocking him over nibbling on his legs, head butting him and "boxing" him, but every night when they went to sleep, Roxy would always curl up beside him and put her arm around him. (Awwww) Those 2 are the light in my life. I couldn't imagine life without them.

I forgot to add a little bit of the story of getting Jeffrey. After I saw the ad, I called and talked to Jeff's mom. She told me she would call back to make arrangments to meet. She didn't call. I was feeling sort of let down, thinking she had given Jeffrey to someone else. I called and left messages, but no reply. A couple of weeks later I looked in the pet ads again and I saw "Genia, lost your number, please call for Jeffrey". She told me later she had received a few inquiries about Jeffrey, but she wanted me to have him. Yes, we were meant to be together!
I adopted my dog at the Chilliwak S.P.C.A.
I was volunteering there and when I saw him I fell in love with him.I had to beg my mom to get him for me.Plus I needed a good jogging partner.I am so glad I have him he goes everywhere I go.
