I have had several problems occur during the recovery period of spaying, but never anything like this. What an awful scare that must have been for you. We will keep Baby in our prayers as she continues to recover and thrive.
I hope by now she is home, Molly and Mike. I am so glad that as of the last report, things were looking up!! :)
*breaths a huge sigh of relief*
SOOO happy that Baby is doing better. :)
*hugs*
Mike has Baby. I just talked to him. We are supposed to keep her down for 3 days (like crated) and she is on antibiotics. We are also supposed to keep the neon pink dressing on for 3 days. This ought to be interesting. He wants her kept quiet so no playing in the yard for a couple of days. He just doesn't want whatever tore loose yesterday to tear loose again. We'll keep you updated and thank you all again for your prayers and good thoughts.
GREAT news, Molly!!:D So happy to hear Baby is wagging that little tail! Hopefully soon she'll be back home in the loving arms of her Mommy and Daddy!:)

Molly, Mike you are so wonderful for us all. What an inspiration you both are.
But I am glad she is doing much better. Keep us posted.
(I missed getting on the puter yesterday) Just wanted you to know that we will put her in our thoughts and prayers anyways. :)
Oh Molly! What a scare!! I am so glad to hear that she is doing better. Keeping her quiet for 3 days and the dressing on too! What a challenge!!
Hugs to you and Baby!
I'm so glad to hear that everything is looking up. I cannot imagine how worried you must have been--poor Baby!!
I hope she can stay calm and heal properly, that should be a chore--I have trouble keeping one of mine calm with 2 others around--I cannot imagine 19:eek:
Feel Better Soon Baby!!!!!!!:)
I'm so glad to hear that Baby is doing well. After that maybe she'll want to just rest for a while and not be too rambunctous (sp). :D Keep us posted! Was it an artery or something that got nicked?
He's not sure what exactly broke loose. He thinks it was something about an ovarian stem??? or something like that. He said something about putting a stitch in and it possibly breaking loose, but I didn't understand it very well. I was concentrating on her. She is definitely a lot more subdued than usual.
Well, whatever happened I'm just glad to hear she's ok. :D
Goodness, Molly, Mike and Baby! What a time!!! I sure hope things continue in the way they are going. Here is to a speedy recovery, and lots of babying for Baby!
