Congratulations Fuzzy!
You won! You got the hightest score. Will you host the next puzzle? :)
I hope that everybody enjoyed the quote :)
Most important of all creatures to the coast Indian peoples was Raven. It was Raven – the Transformer, the cultural hero, the trickster, the Big Man (he took many forms to many peoples) – who created the world. He put the sun, moon and stars into the sky, fish into the sea, salmon into the rivers, and food onto the land; he manoeuvred the tides to assure daily acces to beach resources. Raven gave people fire and water, placed the rivers, lakes and cedar trees over thr land, and people the earth.
Full of magical, supernatural power, Raven could turn himself into anything at any time. He could dive beneath the sea, ascend into the sky, or make anything happen by willing it. His legendary antics were often motivated by insatiable greed, and love to tease, to cheat, to woo, and to trick. But all often were turned on to hapless Raven

Sure I will take a look this weekeend, right now Have to go work:rolleyes:
I have been in Brithish Columbia some years ago, it was there where I learn about that art and just fall in love !
Pity that it was soooo expensive for my to buy (especialy travelling I like my credit card as full as possible you neve know wha will happend) and the replicas for turist just didn't fit me. Well instead I brougt home a few books about.
I don't remember in what Museum it was, there was an Indian Artist performing for the visistors....and he asked me if I would have a try among the audience..... I felt so honoured! :o

I have been busy for the last few days, checking email is about all the time I have had. I helped with a transport of a great dane Thursday. He was a very nice harliquin, looked almost like a dalmation. :)
I could start a new puzzle Sunday evening. I will have to look for some new quotes.
