Did you find a good trainer for her?
Well yes and no we did the first obedience and the first agility course, while I was on my honeymoon she went to the first class of the Second Agility class,
The woman scolded my brother and told her Blu shouldn't be in the class, (all the flyer says is dogs who have some experience with agility and want more equipment knowledge) Not NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO WORK OFF LEASH WITH EXTENSIVE OBEDIENCE AND PRIOR AGILITY WORK. Yet that is what the woman told me when I got home from my honeymoon. Well I was pissed off that they made no such reccomendation after agility one.... and that she made my brother feel badly and embarassed when he was there. I got an apology and an offer that they would look into discounting me some $$ and let her go into agility one two weeks late...... Yeah it's been like 8 weeks and they haven't returned my call..... I intend to leave them a message and inquire as to whether or not they'd like me to send an editorial to our local paper, my experiences otherwise with them have been good, but I was promised they were going to change the wording in their next flyer to properly reflect the pre-requisites for the class, I've gotten their next flyer and it's not correct either..... But I am really miffed that they were rude to my brother and haven't made any attempt to fix this...
otherwise she's doing great I still work with her even though we aren't in class right now, and she's growing up to be such a sweet baby!

I would write to the paper anyway! Stuff it. Sometimes people have to learn the hard way that they cannot treat others this way.
I had a problem with the Obed. classes when I took Captain. One of the trainers said "Dallies are not really that clever, and awful to train".
Yessssss, they might be HARD to train ....... but I never went back! JERK!

unfortunately there aren't many training facilites in our area and my dog needs to be WORKED! so we'll probably go back.... However I WILL make my complaints heard, if they proclaim to be a professional training facility, they should act like one...
