Spoiled cats much? :D
At our house, Bo is the beggar. He will push the three big dogs away so he can be first in line to beg. When I cook (rare...but i do cook once in awhile), he is underfoot all the time. Bo will eat almost anything.
I think Hanna is going to be the same way. I was eating pumpkin pie here at the computer yesterday, she was right up next to me - I had to stand up to finish it. Luckily Hanna is not out all the time yet - she is restricted to the back part of the house until I can trust her around the mutts.
Abby wants nothing to do with human food - she won't even eat canned cat food. The only human food she has ever eaten was a tiny piece of a Ritz cracker.
Catish, welcome to Pet Talk. I notice that you are a newcomer, by the amount of posts. It is certainly hoped that you enjoy your stay with us, and join in on the comments. You can make lots of acquaintences and friends here, as well as learn to appreciate our favorite furkids more.

My beloved "Kitty Boy" Mittens used to love pizza crust! After I ate the toppings and chewed down to the crust, he got it! He would wait ever so patiently until I finished that first piece, so he could get started!
In memory of Mittens .....

Oh horror: Filou has seen Edwina's pic. He says: Why is she allowed and I am not!!!!!!
kimlovescats. Your Mittens was certainly a beautiful tabby. I have only one furkid that patiently waits for me to give him something to eat, whether it is their food or mine, namely Otis, my recently adopted older flame-point Siamese. Tiger also waits, but I still have to watch her, because she is an opportunist.:)

Edwina's Secretary, the picture of your kitty on the table is funny. What is your cat eating? Is that chicken? (lol)
My cats also lounge just about everywhere in the house, but their favourite spot is the dinner table. Katie is a little rascal, last night I was sitting at the dinner table eating my dinner and Katie gradually made her way up on to the table… well she came over to me and sat right next to my plate and touched my mashed potatoes with her little paw and smudged it on to the edge of the plate so she would be able to lick it off her paw.(lol)
Anyway… I thought it was so funny that she was nervy enough to do that.
Thank you wayne for the warm welcome here. I love reading everyone’s stories and it’s also a great place to get some good advice. :)
Texas does that to me. He starts about four feet away, and inch by inch creeps closer to the plate, until he is using his paw to pull my fork hand closer to him...like I don't notice a black object getting closer and closer?? Finally, I just push all my food to one side, put his on the outer edge, and we both finish in silence. :DQuote:

I've never had pizza-eating cats - but here's a rundown of some other food favorites.
Our RB kitty Lucy (1983-1994) loved spagetti with meat sauce and parmesean cheese.
Our RB kitty Crystal (1981-1998) loved chicken liver and the crusts from Pepperage Farm's raspberry turnovers.
Our RB kitty Quincy (2000-2002) didn't ever show much interest in people food - he was a hunter and prefered to dine on the real thing.
Our boy Sid shows absolutely no interest in people food, or even kitty snacks. As long as he has a bowl full of dry food, he's a happy camper - but he does enjoy the wet food "treat".
Jan loves coffee beans. She's also sneaky and is suspected of getting into the sink or on the counter to scrounge for leftovers that haven't been put away, but she is very sneaky and we aren't able to catch her in the act.
Joxer is the nose. He is so cute - he likes to sniff at new smells and moves his head around as he sniffs - trying to get the smell just right. He loves tuna and cheese.
nevvie and indra dont care much for my food.....but baby washy....thats a different story....i havent found a food i eat that he doesnt like!!! to me, the funniest is i pour myself a glass of milk, return the carton to the fridge and as i turn around there is baby washy grabbing his daily calcium!!!
