Happy Halloween! So what did you all end up doing? Melissa and I took Lady and Nebo trick-or-treating (we have too much time on our hands, lol). We only rang the bells on a couple of people we knew, just to get a rise out of them wahahaha (her grandma was the best!). They ended up getting to say Hello to another doggy friend (Moose the chocolate lab), getting 2 milkbones, a cookie (human kind), and a hotdog. LOL. What treats!

And then Melissa and I went to the late night showing of The Ring! :eek:

:confused: :confused: Um, I don't mean to appear ignorant or anything. But isn't Halloween in October???? Since I'm kinda new to the Midwest, would someone mind filling me in on this unusual tradition??? I'd really appreciate it.

well, I think it's great to celebrate Halloween in the middle of summer-takes your mind off of the heat!! I loved Halloween- used to dress the 'dales up as the scariest thing I could-one year they were Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, and one year Hillary Clinton-I put stockings on the beasties and padded the ankles. No offense Hillary!!:D
