Mama is gone.:( She crossed Rainbow Bridge at 1pm today.:(
I scruffed her myself & got her into the carrier. It went well and
she was scared at the Vets, but cooperated fairly well. After the
exam the Vet said she had fluid in her lungs & probably had been
sick for quite a while without me noticing.:( Vet thought she had a
tumor as well. Mama had a stroke while undergoing the chest xray.
She tried to lift her head, but could not. At that point I asked for her
to be PTS. She looked so bad.:( I got to stay with her afterwards.:(
My poor ,poor Mama.:( I asked for private creamation & her ashes
returned to me.

I'm so sorry! :(
Mama Kitty, RIP, you're now healthy and free at the Bridge. Peace to all who loved you.

:(
Poor dear Mama. She wouldn't have lived this long, with her loving an beloved Mom with her, if you hadn't taken her and her babies in.
I am so so sorry, Liz.

Liz, I am so so sorry. I feel your pain. Please comfort yourself knowing that you made her life wonderful and she will not forget you.

My heart is totally broken for you and Mama kitty. It was my worst fears come true. I am just so sorry to hear this. In your heart, you must know that it was you that loved her, you that cared, and you that didn't allow her to pass alone. It doesn't really help much now.
I am just so sad. RIP, sweet Mama. Hugs to you, Liz.

After what happened to Tigris and Daisy I was worried as well.
I am so sorry to hear this.
These tumors really happen so fast :(
Hugs to you. What a sad Easter :(

I'm so sorry, Liz. You did a great job for Mama Kitty and her babies for all the time they were with you.
Hugs to you.

So sorry to hear about Mama Kitty. :( Cat's are unfortunately experts at hiding illness and that doesn't make it easier for us humans to help them at times. You did what you could for her and I'm sure she's running and playing with my Dusty as we speak. My thoughts are with you.

This still doesn't seem real to me. I can't believe she's gone.
The day started out so beautifully. I opened the garage door and
Mama came & sat in the doorway & I leaned up against the car. Mama
walked around the driveway & scoped out the scene. To me, she
looked & acted almost normal except for her raspy sound. I was sorry
that I didn't choose to put off her Vet visit, just one more day.:(
Her house mate ,Baby Kitty, is going to miss Mama a lot.:( Here is
a picture of Baby Kitty following Mama back to the Garage. She is about
3 yrs old, just never grew to adult size.
