I am older too Richard , and one thing I have learned is that when they want to come to you, they will and you have to let them choose the time that they are no longer nervous among people!
Its as always is the Cats Choice!!!

Well matey i have heard of men and their harems but a kitty harem is a new one on me he he, just kidding, i love reading your posts and i can tell you are rather smitten with your new furbabies.:):love:
I have to tell this story because I was lazy and relieved!
The kittehs are living under the house. The are fairly safe there and out of the elements.
It HAS been blazing hot here and I can understand why they would prefer to hide out in the cool area of the crawl space.
Two days ago I came out of the house and smelled something that was really bad. Like REALLY BAD. I thought for a second and realized that maybe the litter was bigger than the three kittehs and maybe there had been some that did not make it.
I felt badly and steeled myself to go under the house and search out the cause of the odor..I was working my way thru my courage and a can on the patio that I use to collect my cans that go to be recycled. I moved the can away from the wall and the smell hit me like a wall....I thoughy "OH NO,the poor thing got in here somehow and died.....":eek::o:(
As I dug thru the can the smell got stronger and stronger.......
I found a plastic bag inside and saw that it was....
Shrimp shells!:o:rolleyes::mad:
I had a bag of shrimp shells that I was taking out to the trash when I stopped to play with the other kittehs, I forgot the bag, which fell into the receptacle and began to 'ferment'.
I was so happy that it was the danged shrimp and not a kitteh that I was beside myself.
I stopped and thought to myself....
"I am laughing over a found bag of rotting shrimp shells."
I wish life's problems were always that simple to correct?:D
I was reading your post with dread, Richard. When you got to the part of the shrimp shells, I laughed so hard in relief I almost fell off the chair. Good luck with the kitties. They ARE easy to fall in love with, aren't they?
Lyk?
I GOT ME SOME LITTLE KITTEH THIS MORNING!
THey were out playing on the patio so I snuck up behind the black kitteh and managed to grab him and give it some scritches.The kitteh was not pleased with that, but I said "I love you" and was forgiven immediately.
I think.:confused:
Did I just type that?:eek::o:D
Are you kittehs or piggehs?;):eek: They are pulling your leg, they were given raw, cooked and shrimp cocktail.
They also had Pollock tonight.:eek::rolleyes::confused:
