Actually, Phesnia, it is in Findlay, not Toledo....but still not too far. Depending on where in Ann Arbor you are, it is a 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive

That's what I was thinking.. I gather that Findlay is not too far from Toledo, so I figured, if I can get to Toledo easily, I can get to Findlay. I'm very near US23 in Ann Arbor, which goes right down to Toledo.
It's about forty minutes away from Toledo. If you take 75 south, it'll go straight through Findlay. :)
BTW, Honda will not be joining us at the dog park. We had to put her to sleep today. :( :( :( I'll post later. Leaving for my parents house now.

Rest In Peace, dear Honda. :(
Prayers for Mom and all of the Family.
She'lll be at the Dawg Park in Spirt.
And if you bring some of Her Ashes, or a piece of a Favorite Bandanna ...
She'll have a spot of you choice under one of the Memorial Trees.
Just had a thought - has anyone in the Findlay area seen Lawn Chair Guy recently? Wonder if he will grace us with his presence http://bestsmileys.com/lol/1.gif
I was there a couple weeks ago and no one had seen him but there are some other issues going on :( people aren't controlling their dogs - allowing their dogs to attack and corner other dogs. one guy came in with his golden retriever and wasn't even there for 5 min b/c other dogs were attacking her and he is actually on the Park Board. He could get the whole thing shut down if he wanted.... they are really going to have to start charging admission again I think b/c someone or a dog is going to get hurt or worse...
Haven't seen lawn chair guy. The signs are taken down about that other guy though. I have only heard things about it being his fault for having his dogs on a leash and the other dogs just greeting them. But this may be another guy.
doesn't seem like many people are going this year?
I think the fact that I said I was going scared everyone away!!;):p
It's too early to *worry* ...
SumDawgs prolly haven't read their invitation, yet ...
We're bound to draw a crowd before it's over. ;)
And - we get *spoiled* with some of the really LOOONG-distance attendees ---
California Mom, Kanuker Slick, the Florida Gang, East Coasters, the New Missican ...
those trips are hard to pull off every year!
But if you haven't seen the Invite - read Post #1 ---
YOU are invited NOW!
My friend Michele and her husband Brian might be there with Cisco and Freyja. They are moving to Ohio this weekend. I told them they have to come in honor of the huskies and I ;) not sure if they'll make it or not. I'm definitely going to come out to Ohio sometime to visit them so hopefully I'll make it to one of the gatherings in the next year or two. Have fun everyone!
princess peanut, joyce and eileen will be there, with 1-pot vegetarian baked beans and 1 pot of bushes' baked beans (love the golden in the comericial)
Yay, it's going to be so much fun!!! :) BTW, I get to pick up Honda's remains today. I'm so excited.
My sister Jenn will be joining us with Sasha again. She looks forward to seeing Simba. ;) :D
We are planning on showing up after church sometime on Sunday. I don't think we will be doing an all day marathon though. Last years Labor Day marathon confirmed that my "old lady" dog just can't handle all day anymore. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
