It's a wonderful life
A Christmas Story! FTW!
xmas in connecticut:D
My favorite version of a Christmas Carol isn't a movie. I have a hour-long version of it on a CD starring Lionel Barrymore as Scrooge. It was produced by Orson Welles who had produced the broadcast that scared everyone called "The War of the Worlds".
A Christmas Story and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. ( the cartoon!! :)))
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation :P
It's utterly hilarious.
My favorite Christmas movie? There are so many, how can I pick just one:
All the Rankin & Bass Classics
A Charlie Brown Christmas
How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the animated one.
White Christmas
Original Miracle on 34th Street though the remake wasn't bad either
The Polar Express
Anything Muppets ie; Muppet Christmas Carol,Muppet Family Christmas, Emmit Otter's Jugband Christmas. I know there's a new muppet Christmas movie that just got released to DVD but I haven't seen it yet.
Christmas Vacation and I could go on and on.:D
Does anybody know the 1955 Michael Curtiz movie "We're no angels" with Humphrey Bogart and Peter Ustinov. It is so funny and heartwarming :)
I generally shy away from Christmas movies. I did, however, quite enjoy "Bad Santa". Don't know what that says about me. . .
I love the Grinch cartoon as well. I have the VHS and a CD of it being read by Boris Karloff with the songs from the cartoon as the rest of the tracks. Love that!
I also have Patrick Stewart reading "A Christmas Carol" and I play that every year. . .I never get tired of it.
