Kim had a bad fall on the 23rd of April...so be patient....TWO sprained ankles!!!
I'm here now! I went to the orthopedic yesterday and now have a boot on one foot and a lace-up wrap on the other. I look like something from a sci-fi movie!
I'm just happy that I am "mobile" again and can care for all the moms and babies without rolling around in my computer chair! :p
Yesterday, I got two more moms with one week old babies. It was a story that I simply could NOT turn away. The "moms" are mother /daughter and had their litters 3 days apart! :( Apparently it is the 2nd or 3rd litter for each of them! The lady stated something about them not "usually" having their litters "back to back". She was giving them away because she now has ducks and chickens and doesn't want them to kill them! Oh, and the clincher? She never bothered to name either of the cats!!!!
They are both dropdead GORGEOUS ... solid white w/ long hair! I'll post pics soon!
Oh dear...more kitties! You're one very special person. That is for sure. How terrible of that woman. No names for the kitties??
No problem, Moesha....there are PLENTY of names for that "lady"!Quote:

Good grief Kim, every time I check there are more moms and babies. I don't see how you do it, especially being temporarily disabled. Long hair white moms, are there any long hair white kittens? My sister still mourns for her long hair white cat that escaped during their move to TX 16 years ago. Maybe some pictures would tempt her to adopt one.
Glad to hear you are mobile now. What did the dr. say? Anything broken or torn. How long of a recovery?
I want to see a pic of your sci fi foot get up, LOL!
I go back in 2 weeks and if all if fine, then I will start physical therapy. Just major ligament strains ... no breaks. I guess in therapy I will learn how to walk on my own two feet ... the right way! :pQuote:
