I'm glad to hear that his teeth cleaning went well and that his urea and creatinine looked better too.:) Hopefully his anemia can be easily treated. More prayers and positive thoughts are being sent his way.

Filou will feel much better with the clean teeth, I am glad it went OK. Hopefully the vets will find out why he has anaemia. Please Filou, eat well all the good food meowmie gives you, it will help ;)
The vet called this morning: the big bloodwork showed that it is not exactly anemia- his levels are at the lower end of normal.
She will think about medication. (Hopefully no pills because this frail 6 lb bundle of energy is ab-so-lute-ly unpillable - you are always afraid you could hurt him and he takes advantage of that.)
Now it's all about gaining weight- Filou is allowed to have as much cream and even carbs (which usually are too high in most industry brands of cat food) as he wants. Only the protein should be controlled. Just opposite to what I should eat
After all a much better outcome than I expected.
Thanks for your help :)
This is good to hear Barbara! Please give that naughty little wriggler a hug from me! :D
Wonderful news for Filou! :D
What good news! I am so glad that the news wasn't so bad afterall.
Hugs to you and to Filou!
Willie :)
I'm glad to hear that he doesn't have anemia and I hope that you'll be able to get him to gain some weight back. If the medicine does come in a pill, have you ever tried pill pockets? They sure work for my Storm. Good luck.:)
I agree! Get well Filou!Quote:
