Hey, Balto,
How did you keep Jesse from jumping in that lake and snatching up the ducks? My neighbor has ducks and every time Dakota gets loose, he chases them. He actually caught one one day and was playing with it. Of course, his idea of play was a little too rough for the little duck and he killed it. :(

Balto, your pictures are all so beautiful! Jesse is one of the most handsome dogs I have ever seen, and you must be a great photographer!

Balto, Jesse is just beautiful! Me, my lab Star and my husky (x) Cody say Hi! again from the good ole USA!! Does Jesse like to swim? My Cody loves to wade through shoulder high water, but doesn't swim! Your photos are great!! Sandra, Cody and Star

Hi There,
Sorry it's talking me so long to reply, only Jesse's grandad has been taken seriously ill while on holiday, so i haven't had much chance to get on PC.
Anyway in answer to everyone's questions, Jesse does like the water, he like's to paddle, but won't get his head, back, bum and tail wet, although when we have the sprinkler on at home for watering the lawns he's quite happy to play and run underneath it.
Hi Stenograsurus, the only reason Jesse hasn't caught the ducks is because i'm still holding his lead just off camera, if he caught one i think he would just want to play with it, (hopefully he won't get that chance, we try to be careful of where we take him and when we let him off his lead)

Hi There,
Just wanted to let everyone know that Jesse and myself are still around, and are trying to catch up on all the postings that everyone has put up.
Jesse's grandad is still very poorly in hospital and we had special permission to take Jesse into the hospital to see him. It was the most heartbreaking sight i have ever seen, Jesse sat by his grandad's bed and lay his head on his hand, started whimpering and wouldn't move. This is possibly the last time Jesse will see his grandad and i think he knew it, thats why he didn't want to leave. It just goes to show how much a dog knows and understands.
Regards to all,
Jackie & Jesse. xxx

Oh Jackie I am so sorry. I hope everything works out for you guys.

I'm so sorry Jackie :( You are in my thoughts and prayers.

It seems like Jesse has more fine qualities than his stunning good looks. I am so sorry about the illness in your family. Jesse's caring for his granddad is what the wonders of dogs is all about. I know you are so grateful to have him with you at this very difficult time.

Jackie I'm sorry to hear this. I'll keep you in my thoughts.
Take care

:( Just wanted to let people know, that sadly mine & Jesse's grandad slipped peacefully away on Wednesday 1st August @ 8:00pm, we are very grateful to the hospital staff that they let Jesse into the hospital to say goodbye to his grandad who he loved very much. I might not be around for awhile as there are many things to sort out, including my nan.
So to everyone who takes time out to come and read my postings, take care and I will speak to you soon. :(
Love Jackie & Jesse. xxx
