There's nothing like a huge, plush, fat, white, lazy, monstrous Maine Coon lying around!
I don't know if Zepplin is a maine coon but he is my puppy and you can not tell him any diff!!!
if he is not any help on finding his breed would be nice we would like another one like him :D
I don't know if this is a surefire way of determining if he is a MC, but does he make a chirpy sound instead of a meow per se? That's a MC trait, in general.
looks soooo much like timmy.
makes me miss him even more :[
thank you for sharing those pictures
all of them are so gorgeous!
That is for sure, Richard. Sure do miss my monstrous Maine Coon, Billy Bob, who died in 2001 but is not forgotten. Now I have a Maine Coon mix. She has all the characteristics but not the size. But I can lift her whereas it was difficult lifting him. Yet he was so bright and even fetched as some Maine Coons do. I had one other one too. I think they actually talk. Well, at least they talked to me ;) :)Quote:

Love em! Here's my Gusty (now gone) with a friend Christmas 2004.
We have had Chessie since he was a kitten ( born in a barn ). Just a little gray fluf ball. he is now 7 years old and a momas boy. Bart and ET came to us on Feb 9, 08. bothe are about 5 years old Bart at 21 lbs I call my big Teddy bear and is now ansering to Bear. he just loves to be brushed and loved. ET is about 12 lbs. and she is very voical. is any thing move with in 3 feet of her you will at lest get a low growel or hiss. She loves to be groomed, but if you slow down or stop you will get told off. She does like to sit on my lap and watch tv. For the most part they get along great with the rest of the CREW. Both are always good for a head but.
Storm reminds me a great deal of Einstein! (The cat, not the human! :))
When Steinie was a baby, the fur on his head stuck straight out all over the place, which reminded me of a famous photo of Albert Einstein -- and you get it.
This guy is just a very pretty "mutt", I think. My vet, impressed by his beautiful coloring (and amused by his very, shall we say, ample size), said, "There must be a Russian Blue in him somewhere -- maybe literally!"
Regardless of his less than dainty waistline, Einstein is about the sweetest guy around!
Wow!!! He looks like he could be Storm's twin.:) Storm is also a very large cat and he weighs about 14-14.5lbs now. He's my oldest senior cat and is now almost 12 1/2 years old. He's the first cat that I owned on my own and he started my cat family.:) His fur is also very fine and thin and is as soft as a rabbits.:) He's also a very smart cat but I'm biased.;)
Storm reminds me of my Fifi (RB). http://www.charleskincaid.com/ourcats.html
Lamoni (RB) is supposed to be the Maine mix. http://www.charleskincaid.com/cats.html
One of my friends had his cat go to the RB after 18 years today. Got me to thinking of my two. That got me to thinking of all you folks here
