Girls, I think it is time to go back to the training wheels until you both can learn to walk.
You've just got to stop thinking about those firemen - the distraction obviously makes you fall down.
By the way - Station 29 just gets cuter and cuter!!
Seriously - it isn't fun - and it is very painful. I hope all of your real four leggers stick close by and keep you upright!

but since this has been pretty much inevitable from the beginning 2 years ago - I think the surgery is long overdue.
without the surgery the chance of it healing is decreased and the longer I wait the longer the healing time.
omg... hope the surgery goes well. maybe you can recuperate with Gina... :p ;)
surgery? okay, what type and where and when? a pod or an ortho guy? and are you osteoporotic? yeah, once an xray tech.... ;)
he's putting a screw in the fracture site to pull the fracture closed.Quote:

Will the Hospital make a temporary job assignment to a task you can perform
without standing or lifting?
Seems making some accommodations for you would be the "kind" thing for them to do!
pretty much -
yea they do have light duty.
I'm off for a few days...
heading to the wilderness of MI! :)
Sorry to hear you're having surgery, Staci. I had that same thing about 10 years ago for a stress fracture. My daughter has a similar surgery coming up in October. I hope it all goes well. Keep in touch and let me know if I can do anything for you :)
s/p means status/post. we've got a hospital xray tech doing light duty at our ambulatory office while he finishes his physical therapy. when you're doing cat scans and xrays, there's only so many light duty areas in a department, and i'm betting they are really itchy for staci to return
