Personally, I think a Dec. birthday is unfortunate...to close to Christmas. People try to cheat and only give one gift...even happens in January! I always thought it would be cool have a birthday in July and really spread the gifts out.
Of course that is no reflection on those with Dec. birthdays! Never meant w/ a Dec. birthday I didn't like !
My dad's b-day is Dec. 28. He hates it! His whole life, everyone has given him a "combination" gift for christmas and his b-day. He gets the shaft on presents.
My oldest step-son's birthday is Dec 24, and my sister has an in-law whose birthday is Dec 25. In both cases, our families really make an effort to seperate the birthday from the holiday. Birthday parties are the main focus and celebrated on the actual date, and holiday celebrations are on some other day.
That's cool.
My friend in college's Bday was the 27th of Dec and she was a twin...she was always complaining about getting the shat on presents..and still not even having a cake of her own!!!
