After our little escapade in Massachuetts, we came back to East Hartford and ordered Chinese food and watched a movie and basically had a real good time and got to know her a little more. I had a blast by just being with her! BTW, Cyber-sibes took a picture of Donna and I hugging each other at our historic first meeting!
Thats great David! and how did Mooshoo take to being abducted LOL!
I am so happy for both you and Donna! Nothing like having great friends and terrific people in life! and it seems you met several this past week! :p
Stay warm and I hope the WebTV thing works out for Donna!
Well, the web tv didn't quite work out. We tried, but there are some connections to her digital tv that prevented the web tv from being hooked up. Dr. Goodnow, if there was room in the suitcase I wwould have taken both Mooshoo AND Molly Rose! She took to me as soon as she first saw me!Quote:

Slick, it wasn't intentional that we misread the time. We wouldn't traveled three three hours in New England trying to find the place. Slick, this was in no way against Karen and Paul. They fully understand that it was an error in timing and I very much regret that Donna and I weren't part of the festivities. I kind of resent you taking it that it was something against Karen and Paul.
Well, it looks like I got confused, as usual. Your post said "escapade" so that could mean anything. Didn't know it meant a long train ride. I thought the restaurant as very near Donna. What do I know about US geography?? Sorry.
Hi David, glad to hear you are home and safe! We will have to meet on another travel trip. How are your kitties? Happy to see you, or punishing you for leaving them? Sandra
I might be convinced to "liberate" a couple of choice pics of the mayor from our younger days next time I'm in Mass........ :p
Freedom, they looked at me like, "what are you doing around strange kitties". but otherwise they were glad to see me. Hopefully Cyber-sibes will post the picture of me and Donna she took when we first stood face to face!Quote:

So, Where's Pat, da Bus Driver??
Getting kinda late - she ought to be getting pretty close to Home by now.
Let's all say a lil Prayer that she stays  awake and arrives safely, and soon.
;)
I finally arrived back at home base...at a little after 11 PM! so I'm not going to post pictures till tomorrow. I was licked clean of all "travel crumbs" by Sherman as soon as I got in range, LOL! I even got several kisses from Star - a most unusual event! The weather was pretty good till I hit western PA, where it started to snow-sputter and continued that almost all the way thru Ohio.
Just to hit a few highlights - the Lake with the impossibly long name was frozen over, though Mr. Dad told us that it's so deep that it has currents and more than once, a snow-mobiler has plunged through & now there is a used snowmobile-dealership on the bottom. (OK, I made up the last part.) Karen was such a cute kid! And her dogggies looked so sweet, the puppy pics of the St. Bernards were to die for! My gosh, what BIG fluffballs! JoJoe & I both enjoyed our time with everyone. David & I got to see a huge part of PA, a little NY, & CT...and of course MA, & I saw a lot of RI. *Yawn* I have GOT to get some sleep- pictures tomorrow, I promise. ;)
*edit --- the pictures will be delayed till Wed...due to a lil emergency with Sherman...
