Well, we will just have to keep those prayers going longer than we hoped, Jen, but we can do that! :) Hugs to you and Blizzard.

I'm glad the surgery went well, and i hope the lump is benign. Poor baby. *speedy health prayers* coming your way!!
Ugh..don't you just hate the wait. Glad all went well and lets hope for a good test result!
I'm so sorry to hear that Blizzard needed surgery, Jen. It's good to know that the procedure went well.Prayers that the results will show nothing serious.

Still waiting on results.
He incision is posted as an attachment. It is long, but it is not really horrible looking.
Poor Blizzard.:( She remains in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that the results are good ones.
Ouch! That picture made me squirm in my seat little! Poor Blizzard!!
I hope the results come back good.
Blizzard, you are a brave little girl!
We're still praying for you..........
Get well soon Blizzard. You sure are a pretty one.
The lump they removed was cancer. :( :(
This was the message relayed to me:
the tumor was successfully removed and there was clean tissue on the tissue edges.....
meaning they THINK they got it all...
However, Dr W cautioned that if even one cell was missed it will pop up in another part of her body...
This message was received via voice mail, so we still actuall need to TALK to the vet to see what is our next step. Will there be routine testing? How can we monitor her "condition"?
I will let you know when I know.
But don't they always say that, whether animal or human? I want Blizzard to be okay and I will keep praying for her recovery and freedom from the dreaded "C".
(Let's hope they got every single bit)
Oh Jen, I'm sorry that was the diagnosis ... but if they think they got it all, then chances are they did!!! We'll hope and pray for the best! ;)
Hugs,
Kim
Hugs to you, Jen. This isn't the outcome any of us wanted to hear. My prayers continue for Blizzard that there are no residual cells. Of course you need to talk to your vet in much more detail about the prognosis. Prayers for you that the answers will be what you so desperately want to hear. Please keep us posted?
