God I hate doing this, but, I wasn't able to go to Bloomington today. I'm going to call on Tuesday and see what happened and if no one showed up to put an app in, I'll make arrangements to go down next weekend...I was SOOOO disappointed.
I did get to see Daisy today though.
I'm sorry I'm such a disappointment.:(

Glad to hear that Daisy is getting a little better. Wish she could be going home soon.
Molly, you just can't be everywhere at once!! If you are meant to adopt the dog, you will. Good luck Tuesday.

Molly,
You have a heart as BIG as Texas !!! I know if it were
humanly possible, you would move heaven & earth to
rescue every homeless pooch out there.:D I agree with
Sue, if this is meant to be....it will be. You are NOT a
disappointment , but I'm sure you probably feel bad
that you couldn't get everything done today that you
wanted to. Hang in there Molly !!! Give your furkids a
big ole hug & kiss from me.:) :) :) Liz & Buddy.

How can anyone who opens her heart to every dog she possibly can be a disappointment?
I am sure it was very hard for you to not go see the GSD today, but your first priority has to be your current kids. My mom has a friend who won't get something when he first time sees it. If he goes back and it is still there, he was meant to have it...if not, he never was. There were a lot of people interested in this dog and maybe he was meant for one of those families...or maybe there is another dog out there, you'll discover soon who needs you more then the GSD did..or maybe the GSD will be there Tuesday. Whatever happens I am sure it was meant to be.
In the meantime, focus on Daisy May and gettin her to poop!!! So she can come home where she belongs :)

Cincy's Mom is sooo right! We almost didn't get Killian!! At first, there was Rocky, a GSD. We missed him by 10 minutes and an error on the shelter workers part! Next, there was the Great Pyr that I was called in to check out. In fact, I was going to adopt her because not too many knew of her breed. However, as I went to tell Killian (on the "last chance" side of the shelter) that I would be saving the Great Pyr and not him because he was a GSD and "someone" would probably adopt him, I saw that he was a 69lb (should have been 110+) bag of bones with bare spots and open sores on his body. SUE was written all over this guy! He was on death row, he didn't have a prayer! OK, so he was MEANT for ME!
About the Great Pyr... I gave the shelter all kinds of info on the breed and told them that if no one adopted her in 2 weeks, to give me a call and I will.... She was adopted out to a family with kids! WOOHOO!
So, dear mugsy, what's meant to be, will be!! You can never be a disappointment, ever!!! You (and Mike) are Angels! There's no denying that!!
