All of mine are pronounced just how they are spelled.
I have been saying Raustyk's name wrong :o
angel is pronounced the way it sounds, but abysinthe looks like its pronounced like abby-sin-thee but its just ab-sinth like the drink thats illegal in the us and makes you hallucinate... ;)
All of my pet's names have been fairly easy. I don't think I've ever had anyone ever pronounce them incorrectly when they see them written. I've had people misunderstand what I'm saying when I say Finn's name (I get Ben, Sven, etc). But, they're all self-explanatory when they're seen, usually. ;)
Finn - fin (like a fish's fin, or like Huckleberry Finn)
Freckles - (just like freckles on a person's nose)
Dudley - Duhd-lee (like the actor Dudley Moore)
RB pets...
Dusty - Duh-stee (like my cabinets!)
Bruno - Broo-no
Luli - Loo-lee
And, so far the only ones I think I'm pronouncing incorrectly are Raustyk, and, Zsa Zsa (I thought Zsa Zsa was like the actress, Gabor...but, I guess it's pronounced like the word Tsar. I never would have guessed that!).
Hi everyone. Please allow me to jump in here.
My son has a Chihuahua named Miura (mere -ah)
and a springer lab mix, named:
Lillie (you guessed it, Lil-lee)
My daughter has 2 German shepards:

Kasha -typed the way it sounds
My oldest daughter, in Florida, has on Chihuahua that she rescued from a foster home, named Bella. (Bell-ah) who rules the rest of the pack that are Pekingnie  se: (im sure I've spelled that wrong)
Missy
seemie (sim-mee)
Oogolf (oo-golf)
Tammy
