Any beverage can be hydrating, even soda, as long as it's not ALL that you drink :)
Ice water is my first and formost - I usually have at least a bottle of water wherever I go.
2nd is Lemonade especially Fresh.
I have a 32 oz insulated mug I use for Ice water all year round. I am a water person.
I also love to enjoy a white russian on a occasional hot day...dont know why? :)
Ice water with lots and lots of ice. A big glass of Sweet Ice Tea but it has to be Green Tea. And once in a loooong while a very cold glass of beer with V8 Spicy in it and a dash of pepper huuummm, yummy.
Diet Coke
Diet pepsi, ice water, strawberry mango smooties, or iced lattes!
I don't like cold drinks when it's hot or any other time. Even when it's in the nineties, I drink hot tea - preferably Darjeeling.
I too like a cup of hot tea when it's hot, but also ice cold bubbly water or Pepsi/Coca Cola. Later in the day, a cold lager is great, and also a Gin and Tonic. :)
This thread makes me chuckle.
I used to love Lemonade but when I was a youngster I went to the very 1st Live Aid concert in PA with my brother. We were on the field and didn't want to lose our places to go and buy food or drink. It was very hot out. The only thing that was close to where we were sitting was a Lemonade stand. So I drank Lemonade all day and nothing else (didn't even eat food). I swear I lost 15 pounds that day.
I haven't had Lemonade since.
:D
So, to answer your question, a BIG glass of chilled water!!
