Sorry, LH, I'm afraid Orc overdid it with the firewood. Next time I'll command Orc to "cool it" on the flames! I'm surprised the firemen didn't show up!Quote:

My head hurts so I don't want to think about anything. Yes, David, a fire would be wonderful. I'll just curl up on the couch with a bankie, and a hot toddy. A massage would be wonderful too, to ease these achy bones. Gosh, if I feel like this at 44, how in the world am I going to feel when I'm 74?  :(
As for boring PT meetings, I that is an oxymoron. I don't care if we're watching slide shows or playing bridge, somehow I just can't imagine that it would be dull and boring. :D
Ok, enough typing. I've had to correct a typo about every 3rd word on this post. I need to go home and go back to bed and shut out the world for awhile....
Debbie, couldn't help thinking "Yes we'll still need you, yes we'll still love you - when you're 74" yeah, yeah... don't quit my day job  Good thing this couch is so big isn't it? Mario, Lady, sickie's ~ wow Nurse Jane Fuzzy Wuzzy has her work cut out today ;)
Thanks, Laurie. :D
My boss just called and he's home sick. Almost told him to come here for some comfort. ;) But that must be why I'm feeling blah, I'm just a day or two behind him. He sounded all stuffy and really bad though. Sure hope I don't get it that bad. :(
Speaking of comfort, I'm not so sick that my appetite is gone, so what kind of comfort food are we having today? Haven't had onion rings in a while.....which reminds me, where's MOFF been lately?
Here Debbie have a cup of this echannacca tea it should help nip that thing in the bud . Have one later this evening to.
I brought a big pan of scrambled eggs and bacon , made some toast to. If any sickies feel like eating.
I can't stay got to do that spring thaw thing . Cleaning up the Newfy mountains.Yuck. !!!!
I left a bunch of really old and really bad horrior movies on the tv for you all. Enjoy.
This sick thing must be catching. When I got home last night Byron was feeling sick and now I have a delightful headache.
maybe the orc can give me a neck massage?
Catland, I'll put Orc into gentle neck massage mode for you and anyone else that needs it.Quote:

I'm feeling a bit down, myself - work related junk. *sigh*
I don't like my new boss very much.
As long as I keep sending out those resumes, the perfect job is bound to come along, right?
Laurie - I sang it too! lol One of my friends played that as she exited the church on her wedding day. cute!
Well the day is looking up I got a call for an interview at our local bakery (job I really want) doughnut fryer .
Can I get any of our paients a hot tea or 7-up?
Well, corinna, if you're going to be interviewing for a donut fryer position, why not demo those skills for us! (Hot donuts....mmmmmmmm)
*bangs fists on table* DONUTS DONUTS DONUTS, or - if you prefer DOUGHNUTS DOUGHNUTS DOUGHNUTS :D
Corinna, oh, don't even think about tempting me!! (I will be right over)
My downfall is a doughnut! Any kind will do...............
I was driving home after dropping Slick off at the airport and I drove
right by a Krispie Kreme shop. It was so tempting to pull into that drive-through............but I was good.............and I am not proud of it either!
I must rather would have liked to have had a doughnut or two...........
Corinna - oh no! - glazed - chocolate covered - creme filled - jelly filled -
how could you?????? (hope you get the job).
Geeze - who woke her up??? :D :DQuote:

Donuts and a hot toddy by the fire after a good massage.....aaaahhhh...
Good thing I'm wrapped up here by the fire, because our heat at work finally decided to give up the ghost. It's been acting geeky since November. The boss has gotten quotes on replacing the furnace but that's as far as it's gotten. So there the quotes sit in his "in box" and here I sit in a 67 degree office - and dropping! The heat hasn't gone on since I got back from lunch. If not for my little heater under my desk - brrrrrr......<shivers as she takes another sip of hot toddy> Every now and then I have to sit on my "mouse hand" to warm it up.
Good luck, Corinna!
Gini, Sorry about that, I started talking about hot fresh donuts an she woke up.
Can I get a Large hot anything? It's time to go out and shovel, and I'm going to need a little liquid refreshment when I'm done!
