And knowing you've got access to 24/7 Oxygen; a lil button to push that brings a freindly person for a brief chat ...
I'm going to ask Cinder to wear a Nurse's Cap tonight.

I think you should start a new thread, so folks don't still see the "back in hospital" title coming up and scarin' em!
Phred's continuing adventures on the Homefront, perhaps? ;)
Good to see you posting, and in time, you'll get back into the "sleeping at night" habit, just give it a few days!
Welcome Home, Phred! That's wonderful news to hear that you are home!!! :D
Hope you get this "night sleepin' " thing worked out!
So glad you're home!
Hugs!
It's so great to hear that your home. I bet the mutts & 'kat' are loving it.
Take care of yourself now! We can't have you visiting the hopspitable for so long again!
Aw, Phred, I am sorry to hear you still have the old can't-sleep problem. :( I know how bad that feels.
I have some ideas, suggestions, or whatever you want to call them .. even silly maybe, but here goes.
All those things are sedantary I know, but rest is what you need and they do/can occupy the mind, which may help.
If you like reading have plenty of books on hand, maybe that looong one you have always been meaning to get to.
If you don't like to read I do know you like to write, get all those wonderful 'tails' you have told us together into some sort of framework for a book ... you have a ready market right here on PT. :D
Get some films you've been meaning to watch, sit and enjoy.
Of course fresh air is important too, I know, but you can get that by sitting out on the porch - maybe throwing the ball for the furkids - and taking gentle strolls.
Instead of trying to get to sleep at normal times just nap when you can.
That's about all I can come up with right now, sorry if they sound daft but... :D
{{hugs}}
Chris
Give yourself time Phred!!! You need to readjust to NOT being in the hospital!!! I agree with Karen, need to start a new thread!!PHRED is HOME!! Continued prayers for your recovery(and sleep)!!
Hi Phred!! Just wanted to pop in and let you know I was thinking about you. I hope you can get your sleep pattern adjusted and catch up on some zzzz's. You just have to beat this thing and get all well, buddy. We don't like when you are away from PT. I can't wait to see you at Findlay so you better be taking care of yourself and doing everything you are supposed to be doing.
Love, hugs and tailwags....Robin, Katie and Tori :)
glad to have you home. I suffer fron insomnia too I take 2 500mg of calcium tablets about a 1/2 before bed . I'm out like a light.
WELCOME HOME AGAIN, PHRED!!!
Try reading something boring like War and Peace or Advanced Physics!
That should knock you out! Works for me anyway! ;) :D
I don't usually hang out over here, but I want to add my best thoughts for you Phred; from what I've read, you've been through a LOT.
Just remember your PT friends are here for you! Take care of yourself and we'll do the praying. :)
I'm so glad to hear you are back home Phred. I hope you have a speedy recovery!
