Yeah, I'll be going to see it, I'll see most anything with Steve Martin. ;) I hadn't heard that it was a lot like Lost in Translation, though...hmmm....Quote:

So, that at least sounds like it's not going to end like almost every other romantic comedy. and, don't get me wrong, I'm as big a sap as any when it comes to Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks, but, as much as I love those movies, they're all really predictable.
Anywho....I may wait to see it on video, if I can't get someone to go with me. I really want to see that Goodbye and Good luck or something like that...and, that new one Syrian. George Clooney is just really beginning to pique my interest. :) Not to mention, he's pretty sexy. ;)
"Being Julia"
Really good movie. Annette Bening is wonderful as usual and I loved the ending!
Kari I don't think SHOPGIRL is like Lost in Translation, but it said in the review I read in our local paper if you loved that movie , you will love this one, so you are bound to like it for sure.

My Mum and i watched "Hide and Seek" with Robert DeNiro and Dakota Fanning last night. I thought it was a bit lame, and just a little bit predictable.
After that i also watched half of "Running on empty" River Phoenix, Martha Plimptom (Cannot stand her). I have enjoyed it so far and will hopefully get to sit down and watch the rest after dinner.
I finally got to watch the end of "Running on empty", River Phoenix did a wonderful job as always, i got a bit teary right at the end :o.
My husband rented Polar Express last night, but I didn't get home until late so I didn't get to watch it yet. Hopefully we'll watch it tonight! I've been wanting to see that one.
It's a really fun movie!Quote:

PAPER CLIPS.
If you see ONE documentary, make it THIS one.
At one point some one mentions that you will "never look at a paperclip the same again..."
