OK, will do. :)I was trying to keep it "animal" related.:p:p

LOL,
It's just that after I eat nothing makes sense to me.
And since I always eat.....;)

I am glad that the United States Senate has decided to look at the college football playoff system.
We really need to do that before any thing else happens!:D
Morons!
Liz Im not gonna accuse you of plagiarism, but if you didnt originaly write what is in post #1043 10 months ago or earlier, you should have posted the source link.
I hope Ms. Sanford stops with her raking her husband over the coals-he does deserve it, but....
Her rant about giving Gomer a second chance is her chance to hurt the scumbag and hurt him good.
She'll hang it over his head for the immediate future and punch him in the groin every chance she gets.
She gave the dumb AH a 'go' for the affair and now she'll be able to remind him just what he 'put her thru'.
I love politics.
She has done what nobody else could - taken MJ off the front page :D
Now the Dems can start eating their own.
----------------------
Check it out, she can talks without using one of those teleprompter thingies.
Notice, she's leaving because the media screwed her.
Mr Sanford?
Go home and make the wifey happy.
I understand why you went 'a-broad', your wife is a piece of work.:eek:
-----------------------
IT'S Friday, where is my president? He hasn't been on TV today?!
You are correct. It was physical, but not Sect shul?;)
I had never, ever heard a woman publically take as much shiat as this woman.
Some of the things the MEDIA reported about her was really bizarre.
ANd some of the comics were merciless.
Let's see what Tina Fey would do with a challenged kid?
What about Letterman and his bees turd child?
-------------------
I like the idea of free speech, but, I really choke when I see/hear people asininely spew trash out for one person, then defend some other F-Up for something truely worse.
--------------------
Yeah, I heard the 'retard' jokes about her kid, how her husband was a jerk, her daughter was/is an unmarried whore, her granddaughter was illegitimate, the celibacy trip her daughter is on now, and how Alex Rodriguez is the next son-in-law because he nailed her daughter-either one- during the 7th inning stretch!
I, for one, will clown on the adults-the kids?
WHat do they know? They are free from sin in this case.
Blame the AH parents for bringing them into the picture. Then shift it to the rest of the sharks, looking for politcal blood in the water, then we can go to all the rest, who think that a Bristol Palin joke is worth a few laughs.
Yep, SP is mostly to blame for staying in the public spotlight, But, I look at the stagehands, who's job it is to keep that light shining. Those are the idiots wasting fossil fuels.
If they choose not to cover anything "Alaskan" she'd go away. Plus you have to hand it to her.......
She made the announcement on a Friday before a huge holiday.
Take that NewsReader! You have to stay late tonight to cover my press conference! DOPE!:D
So, you've never heard of Hillary Clinton?
I grant you the media was over the edge at times. However, she could have stopped them in an instant by stating the kids were off limits and by taking her own advice. The Clintons stopped the crap coming about Chelsea by keeping her out of the limelight.
Yean, I ragged on her too, she deserved it-she played the Loretta Lynn card to the max and all the Fems bought into it.
They tried the same thing with that little hottie, Chelsea and people were offended, so much they backed down because the Clinton's knew everyone in Hollywood and since the HW is soooo PC.......
---------------------
Hillary stuck by Bill because it was in her best interest-I'd like to see the next politico resign for "no good reason" like SP did.
Not to get ridden out on a rail because they couldn't keep it zipped.
Sanford is the worst kind of Cheating AH there is. They come home, genitalia in hand, because they got busted.
His wife knew about it and she was surprised that he disappeared in Father's Day?
"I don't know where he is?"
Naked Hiking the Appalachian?
Please, do not offend my senses by claiming ignorance.
--------------------------
To quote a raidio 'Dr." that I loathe, yet listen to from time to time?
Give your husband something to come home to, and you will never have to worry about him straying.
Of course, you have to find the hubbie (Wifey too!) that has a little moral character, not some lying AH that nevr had sex with that woman.
I do see your points, but I come back to the viciousness that she was treated to.
Chelsea Clinton was not a teenage/unwed/whore mother, like Palin's kid is supposed to be.
Little hottie - Chelsea was all of 12 years old when she moved into the White House. I thought she was homely - all that curly hair. You must have been wearing strange glasses to call her a hottie?Quote:
They tried the same thing with that little hottie, Chelsea and people were offended, so much they backed down because the Clinton's knew everyone in Hollywood and since the HW is soooo PC.......
Perhaps she should have thought of all that before accepting McCain's offer? I don't think it was any worse that what others have been subjected to.Quote:
I do see your points, but I come back to the viciousness that she was treated to.
Bristol Palin is a teenage, unwed mother - she admits it and flaunts it on the cover of PEOPLE. I have not seen the other word used about her. Maybe Chelsea was raised with a different value system?Quote:
Chelsea Clinton was not a teenage/unwed/whore mother, like Palin's kid is supposed to be
"The Women, How much for the Women!

From my favorite scene in the Blues Brothers. Remember the look of outrage on the dad's face and his daughter snickering about it?
LOL, If I send you my password to Desperate Singles, will you pick out my next GF? Please!:D
Now, my comment was offensive! It's in the same vein. CC turned into a pretty good looking gal - I'd keep my daughter in a plastic box under my bed if I was the president.
I think that we can agree on the fact that kids should be out of bounds for the media, comics and all the other rude commentators.
But when it comes to the adult sex scandals? Bring it on!
-----------------
Being a politician takes some brass ones.
I'd give 50 dollars to see what SP packs.:D
Of course, It would not be a campaign contribution, look at it as a personal appearance fee???:rolleyes::confused:
My big thing about her resignation is the lame duck excuse. GMAB.
What would it be like if every lame duck elected official quit 18 months before the end of their term? Maybe better - maybe worse.
Let's see now - GWB would have left in July of 2007 - giving us Cheney. (The thought sickens me.) Many Governors are term-limited. So why bother running for a second term if that will be your last? And why bother running at all?
THe good things I can see from Gov Palin's resignation are, no more BS news stories about her and her family, the states business can go forward without anymore BS ethics charges eating up state funds, time, and integrity, and she might be able to more for Alaska and disabled children as a private citizen then as a public servant.
Then again if the lefties and media think she is still a threat, even as a private citizen, this might not be the end of the BS news stories, attacks, and ill will jokes about her and her family.
Maybe she'll join the Alaskan Independence Party and work toward secession from the Union rather then go down in flames with the rest of yall.
At least Gov Palin has more integrity then Gov Sanford, Sen Pelosi, Sen Boxer, former Sen Clinton, and numerous of her Republican representatives.
What, no Dianne Feinstein?
I really do hope the Senators figure out the logjam with the Bowl Championship Series. It's rather irritating for teams to make the playoffs and then play for a bowl championship- Leaving the title to be decided by a computer is Un-American!. A few games added to the schedule would certainly cause the athletes to miss classes, but the financial ramifications for schools should not be ignored.
TV revenue, the gate receipts and concession monies, along with a little kick back from the senators alma mater should be enough to get the esteemed representative interested in solving this American Tragedy.
.
Too bad Arnold doesn't join her.
And now that I have seen the entire speech I am even more convinced. It was disjointed, cryptic - downright unintelligible at times. She looked like the "cat on a hot tin roof" - nervous and unsure. I don't know if she was using a teleprompter - if not - I would recommend one.
The poor Lt. Governor. She did not tell him of her plan until Wednesday evening. And her spokesperson was on holiday in upstate New York or the like!
Waiting for the next shoe to drop....
Brilliant. I've been waiting for some celebrity to pull a crazy stunt to get back to the front page ahead of MJ - I just never expected Gov. Palin!
..... its 3:00am - who do you want answering the phone?
oh, sorry, I'm a lame duck - you'll have to talk to someone else.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
CL,
Answer the phone at 3:00 a.m.?
It's not Publisher's Clearing House,
It's more likely someone in jail, gone to heaven or some AH drunk dialing.
Let the machine pick it up.....;)
The woman flunked public speaking 101.
I think Palin is '"done" politically. She can make tons of money on personal
appearances to the republican base. They love her. Palin is going
broke defending herself in lawsuits. She spent half a million dollars so far.
I'll bet she will stay in the media, just not as a serious political figure. IMO.
WTF is up with the stuttering bobo that shows up on my TV tube?
Ummmm DUUHHH, Ahhhhhhh?
I can listen to any untrained speaker because I want to hear what they have to say 'off the cuff'. They speak without a safety net and are far more interesting that any person who has his hand held thru a speaking engagement.
Ummmm, when a person does....aahhhh- all his talking and thinking- ummmm
off the plexiglass of a teleprompter ahhhhh, that realy impresses upon me that the stooge cannot form a thought without having it written down for them.
I like the idea that Nancy Pelosi is a better public speaker than SP.
NP has the experience and short term memory, as her fans do, that make any comments she makes a distant memory that she cannot be held accountable for.
I met the guy who wrote "Logan's Run", great idea. we could apply it to any politician over the age of 48.
I can see the hatered for Gov Palin is still strong with many of you. If she isnt your Gov, Pipe down she dosent represent YOU!
At least she dosent have a portable tele prompter, and she writes her own speeches as governor. She has integrity, I can see why the lefties and the MSM hate her so much.
ETA: To echo RICHARD, she can at least get through a speech without umming and ahhhhhing us to death. She also dosent draw out her speches into some drawn out boring affair with pauses for applause and photo ops.
And because I am a stupid Cah lee fuh nee an and my opinions are kinda wacky?
http://www.kansascity.com/437/story/1305261.html
I don't usually quote stories in the paper, but this one is too good to pass up- I was disappointed CP did not run for prez. He was far better qualified and not as flighty, able to speak full sentences and has a better grasp of national and foreign policy that the current regime.
Did I say regime?
I don't think we've heard the end of Palin.
It doesn't surprise me she resigned. I think she's been out of her league for sometime now. Once she ran for the VP position, and her act went world wide, many people didn't find her amusing. I surely didn't.
I hope only the best for her. I hope her family survives the critics and cruel comments. She signed her family up for the game and I hope now, she takes them out of the game by keeping a low profile.
I never thought SP had enough sense to survive much past the election. The Republican party folks used her and then disposed of her. They did her no favors as far as I was concerned. They let her make a complete fool of herself. What the hell were they thinking when they considered her for the VP job? She was and is minor league, at best. Maybe even Little League!
There are several different reports in the news today about the why she resigned and we may never know the real reason(s).
Say tuned.
Oh, by the way, this is my opinion, and it doesn't make me right! :) I get that. So have at me if you'd like!;)
Does this mean people who do not live in California are not allowed to comment on California politicians????? Including...but not limited to Arnold, Speaker Pelosi, Senators Boxer or Feinstein, Congressperson Waxman, et al.
And only those living in Illinois are allowed to speak of Blago?
Oh how dull that would be!
Ms. Palin put herself (and as SAS points out - her family) front and center on the national stage - where in her speech she stated she intends to stay.
"Be careful what you ask for, you might get it!"

LOL, If I send you my password to Desperate Singles, will you pick out my next GF? Please!:D
richard...can we talk, i have a candidate:cool::D:cool: for you....
Oh my. I feel sorry for her. She just doesn't get it. I wish she would have had someone else write the resignation. She rambled on and in her usual, poorly constructed sentences. She is SO out the league. Oh well.
If you Google her speech, you can find it somewhere.... oh, let's see is I can give you the link, should you want to listen.
http://www.youtube.com/watch/?v=v5IIvg4gMxo
If I screwed up the link, it's on YouYube......
This month's issue of Vanity Fair also has an interesting article about Ms. Palin.
And one about Julia Childs - also a frequent target of Saturday Night Live...who could take it!
The link I have in the previous post links only to the second part of the speech. Somewhere on YouTube in a link to part 1. I listened to both parts just moments ago, and I am still trying to remember what my ears heard. Someone at one of the links commented that she must have gone off her medications before she gave the speech. It was one run on sentence after another.
The first part of the speech had a couple of birds flopping around behind her, as well as a baby crying in the background noise. I found that rather entertaining.
All in all, the speech was confusing at best. Maybe she didn't take Public Speaking 101 in college or high school.
Bless her heart.
P. S. Any bets on how quickly a call was made to Tina Fey for a SNL visit!
