This was the very first Movie I ever saw as a 6 year old. I saw it at the Alabama
Theater, which is a magnificant show place that went through a multimillion restoration recently. I have since bought a DVD from Europe since it was banned in the US.

Just a year later, at seven, I was riding the bus to town on Saturday to go to the Micky Mouse club at the Alabama Theater. This predated the TV versions that came years later.

What a beautiful theatre. That figures banning Song of The South :(along with Little Black Sambo a book I still have & love the story to this day.
