John has Woody in his lap - Woody's sawin logs big time!
I am ever so glad that this came off without a hitch. Kudos to all the participants (and a Happy Birthday too to Karen's John). Thankfully the staff at the airport had the heart to take good care of Woody while he waited for his ride.
Phred, you get a gold star for your logistics coordination. It did seem like quite a challenge but you've got the knack or should I say skill set.
Continuing Woody's Tails ...

Woody's new thread.
I think Phred, Karen, John and the Tx crew need to take a lesson from Woody and go to bed and be ready for a big day of PIC TAKING TOMORROW! :D
:D
I like to recognise Folks who do a good job - and to do that you ususally have to talk to their Boss. Woody would still be sitting in Texas waiting for the Spring Thaw if it weren't for a gal named Shawna at AA Cargo in Dallas -
she said the Magic Words :) that got Woody accepted to fly yesterday.
I determined who her supervisor was - John W. - and called him today.
Very Friendly chap, who turned SUPER Friendly after I explained I wanted to
pass a God Star on to one of his Supervisors. He listened intently as I recapped the grief & aggravation Leslie suffered at Wichita Falls, then replayed Shawna's intervention and resolution of the Woody problem with one tactful phone call.
He about *bubbled* with pride - and promised to recognise and reward Shawna for her good Customer Service skills. He also promised to *look into* the situation at Wichita Falls to see if they could eliminate future problems there. Then he thanked ME for taking the time to praise Shawna and the rest of his Dallas Cargo phone people.
Hope she likes her Gold Star. ;)

That is great Phred! But maybe you should put it in writing so it could go into her file. That's what we do here. We post it so everyone can see, and a copy goes into our permanent file. Just a thought. :)
Thanks to everyone at PT and especially Shawna!! :D :D
I think there is a certain someone around here who deserves one (or more) of those gold stars. For manning Logistics Central and for follow-up services.
I think you deserve one of the biggest gold stars. You are just Mr. Organization and just have a way of getting people together to get things done. I had to force myself not to say "YES SIR!" a couple times! :pQuote:

Everyone was really awesome through this whole adventure... and I can't wait to get my hands on my sweet boy!
