I love that movie! Yes i agree he looks great with messy medium long hair and glasses!
Today i saw the Water Boy, a very hilarious movie
That is such a cute movie :).Quote:
we watched The Explorers the other night, I love that movie! It has River Phoenix and Ethan Hawke, it was one I grew up loving!
I watched a different River Phoenix movie a few days ago Little Nikita. It was ok, i fast forwarded through a little bit though ;).
I watched Poseiden last night. At least, half of it before I fell asleep. Can't say that I thought it was too good.
I finished up my vacation with "Angels With Dirty Faces" starring the late and very great James Cagney followed by Alfred Hitchcock's "The Paradine Case". Both of these oldies but goodies are great and well worth watching again and again.....
A friend and i watched Hostel this evening... how lame, neither of us found it one bit scary :p. Has anyone else seen it? what did you think?
I thought hostel was disgusting, not really scary just the grossest movie I have ever seen.
We were ready to be scared, it just did not happen though. We even let my friends dogs in for "protection" lol. caseysmom did you think they over did the blood? there seemed to be alot.. too much so it was not realistic (Not that i know what realistic would be).
I don't really remember the blood thing, the whole thing just grossed me out.
I saw Scary movie 4 about two weeks ago. VERY funny movie! Great jokes and all but the plotline was really stupid as they always are in those movies :p
I love scary movies, but Hostel wasn't scary just gross. I wish they would make scary movies like they used to , back in the day. ;)
I watched Derailed with Jennifer Aniston the other night, it was pretty good.
I watched a movie on TNT last night. it was probably "cut & snipped" for
TV, but what the heck.It was Kill Bill Vol 1. It was the most intense movie
I've seen in a long time. They are having Vol 2 tonight.I really want
to see how this turns out.
I love that movie! Mort is one of my favourite JD characters.Quote:

My husband and I saw Snakes On A Plane a few weeks ago. It was the best bad movie ever! We had been waiting with anticipation for months before it's release. We saw it with a late night crowd, mostly teenagers, which made it all the more fun. No it's not supposed to be a comedy, but it's also not a movie that can be taken seriously, you can't help laughing. My husband and I (and the whole theater, really) hardly stopped laughing throughout the movie.Quote:

Jadapit, they definitely need to start making scary movies again, they have been so lame the last few years ;).
ETA: I started to watch Brokeback Mountain this evening but had to turn it off after about 15 minutes... it would not have helped the mood i have been in the last few days. Although it is one of my all time favourite movies... but so sad :(.
i saw "Gridiron Gang" last night..a tear jearker, but really a great movie.
I rented Monty Python and the Holy Grail. One of my favorite movies! It may be old, but it is so funny and a pure classic.
LMFAO!!! LOVE IT!!!Quote:

Justin and I went and saw "Little Miss. Sunshine" yesterday. We both liked it a lot, it's really funny. It's the best movie I've seen in quite awhile.

You really should see if you can get the unedited versions. They are amazing, and, definitely intense. I love that kind of film!Quote:

I also hired out Where The Heart Is & Planes Trains and Automobiles, i will probably watch them tomorrow night. I love the Monty Python movies aswell, The Life of Brian is one of my favourites.
I made another thread when there already was one.. forgot. :o
I just seen Jackass Number 2
It was awsome but it has mature theme's that most people may not like.
They did all these crazy, gross yet funny stunts and I loved it!
If your into these type's of movies I would go see this one its SO funny lol.
They are hurt soo bad but in the end they start laughing...johnny knoxville & Bam Margera where so awsome I love those crazy guys *sniff* *sniff* lol.
Remember if you want to see this movie it better be your type or you shall most likley end up leaving because its a VERY bad movie but very funny.
Did anyone else see it? I loved it!
Bumping this up.....
In the last couple of weeks i have watched Final Destination 1, 2 & 3, i quite liked the 3rd one but the first 2 were a bit boring ;).
The Departed. WOW. If you can't handle offensive language, racial slurs, and violence, do not go to this film. But, if you can...RUN TO SEE IT. It is phenomenal. The acting is fantastic, the cast is dynamite, and it even has a heart! I really found myself fond of several of the characters. Matt Damon isn't one I usually will run to go see, but, he was good in this movie, it was reminiscent of his role in Goodwill Hunting, ONLY because it takes place in South Boston and he has the same accent and curses a lot. ;) I like that he doesn't play the nice guy in this, as that is what he normally does. Jack Nicholson is definitely aging, but, aging well, in my opinion. He is a powerhouse in this movie. Mark Wahlberg's character is really rude and funny, but, I really liked him. And, Leondardo Dicaprio has always been a favorite of mine, but, he's been laying pretty low for awhile. He really returns with a bang (no pun intended) in this movie. I saw a preview with him and Djimon Honsou (sorry if I spelled that wrong) last night, too, called Blood Diamond. It looks really good. Intense drama, but, I like that. There were many previews last night that I want to see. I need to start keeping a journal strictly for "movies i want to see" and carry it with me to the theater. ;)
But, that was a bit off track. Go see The Departed. It's rough and extreme, but, really very good. I love Martin Scorsese. Sorry for the really long post, but, this film really rocks.
We don't go out to the movies, much, these days, but we have joined Blockbuster's DVD, by mail, program, and have seen a lot of movies, lately. One that sticks out in my mind is "Simon Burch", which Scott and I especially enjoyed because it is based on a John Irving novel that we both just finished called "A Prayer for Owen Meany". We also saw "Firewall" with Harrison Ford. Very intense, but good. And last night, we watched "Spanglish" with Adam Sandler and it was very touching.
Logan
Chasing Amy is currently on TV, i just got home and am watchiing the last of it... i have not seen it before. I dont know what to think of it, there was just a whole heap of yelling and swearing that caught my attention lol.
I just watched Scrubs, ahhhh... I love that show.
We are going to see "The Prestige" tonight. Hopefully it's good.
I really liked it! I was confused for a majority of the movie, but in the end, I thought it was really well done. :)Quote:

*Definitely bedtime now*
I didn't watch these today but within the last month or so.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning - The whole movie made me think that Leatherface was going to die, although I knew it couldn't happen because of it being the beginning. It really made him vunerable in this movie.
Eight Crazy Nights - This movie is HILARIOUS. I'm usually bothered by cartoon/animated movies - I find them hard to pay attention to. But, this movie was great.
The Hills have Eyes - This movie is so gross but it cracks me up. If you've seen it, specifically the way they imitate noises - the dog barking, "daaaaaaaaadddddyy", "gargle gargle, gargle" etc. It's one of my favorites.
I joined Netflix.
I rented a lot of old movies I've never seen. Just saw "Lillies of the Field" with Sidney Poitier (*sigh*) and it was absolutely beautiful.
Kari..Trainspotter is on my list, I was so surprised to see you list it, as it wasn't given ample movie time in the US.
Right now, I got all 3 Xmen movies. I love that stuff as a change of pace. Some movies like Thelma and Louise, Fargo, Monsters Ball...I can see 1000x and love them just as much as the first time. It kills me to wait for DVD but going to the movies is way too expensive for me. I just have to be patient
Yes I seen that movie lol its so funny! :DQuote:

50 First Dates & the 2nd Austin Powers movies were on TV Friday night, a couple of friends and i were staying at a Motel for the night before flyball Saturday and stayed up and watched them. I had forgotton how much i liked the 2nd Austin Powers movie, so i was quite happy it was on.
