Oh don't worry, I know you. It was more in reference to random people who only add me cause they think I'm "hot" or something lol that just... annoys me. Why add people I've never even talked to before in my life?

I'm the same way. I will add folks from Pet Talk, even if I haven't met them... but, we're like a family in here, so, that's cool! And, I'll add local bands that I've seen, just to support the local music scene...and, I've added famous bands and musicians that I love...like Guster, Nickel Creek, Paul Simon...but, every one else in my friend's list are people I actually know in real life and are friends with. Besides Pet Talk people, there are only like five people I have listed as friends that I've never met. But, they're people that I talk to online all the time...I think it's funny when I get messages from stupid guys saying silly things. I don't even look at their profile or reply. I just hit delete. And, I get friend requests from people who never even bother to send a message, I won't add them at all. Talk to me first! Myspace does have it's quirks. I like it, though, overall.

What I found funniest is that I accidentally reset my relationship status to "single" (or it did it on its own, because I honestly don't remember doing it) and for two weeks I kept getting ALL KINDS of messages from random guys and I was like "WHY DO THEY KEEP SENDING ME MESSAGES!!" until my friend IMd me one day and was like "..did you and HJ break up?". So I changed it back, and the messages stopped cold. ;)

Did you put your real age anywhere on your profile? Because they have people who go around looking for "illegal" kids on myspace or kids lying about their ages and they delete their profiles.

But regardless I would just wait until you're legally old enough to make an account there. That way if it gets deleted, you can yell at them ;)

At least on her first one she put her age at 17 then over the the right where you can explain yourself - she said "I'm only 13".

I know that, that's what I'm saying though. They probably saw that she put "I'm only 13" and thought "ok; she's not 14 yet AND she is under 18 AND lying about her age" which are all things you can get your profile deleted for, you know? That's all I'm saying. Maybe next time just don't put your real age, OR just wait until you're fourteen :)

Yeah my niece put her age as 18, she's only 13 as well. I don't like it that she did it but I'm not her mom so I haven't said anything to her, her mom knows she's on there too...
