anna, here's hoping for you ((hugs))
Well it's all done and over with now and boy let me tell you, having the one that was hurting done was almost the most painful thing I've ever felt:eek: I would have cried if it would have done any good (I'm still really, really sore today). Luckily the right one didn't hurt nearly as bad.
The dr there did say the mammogram looked different than before so we will see what the surgeon has to say (on the 5th), but they couldn't find anything on the ultrasound (which is good!)
I'm sure it's nothing I just want it to quit hurting:)
Mark was a good husband and took me out for breakfast afterwards and even bought me a flower (I love that man of mine!):D
Here's my flower...a pen and pad...isn't it cute:D

Glad the ultra sound showed zero. :D
Anna keeping fingers and toes crossed
that the surgeon will tell you GOOD news on the 5th.
Glad to hear the ultrasound was clear!! Hope the surgeon has some good news on Thursday too!!
My thoughts and prayers are still with you Anna. I wish you all the best. I hope the soreness goes away soon too. What a great guy Mark is. Hugs to you both!!:D
Terry:)
Anna, I'm sorry I only saw your thread right now. It's good news that the ultrasound was clear.
Sending comforting thoughts and prayers to you and best wishes for the surgeon to give you a clean bill of health when you see him Thursday.
Sorry it hurt Anna - :(
Glad they didn't see anything on U/S tho.. Will keep you in my thoughts.

Still scary though . . .
Good luck! You're in my thoughts & prayers!
I'm glad it's nothing serious.
It's aobut time Mark's done something right. ;)
I'm glad to hear it's nothing serious, keeping you in my thoughts! Sendin' ya good vibes.. :)
I hope that the surgeon has good news for you, as well. Glad to hear they could find nothing.
I also hope the surgeon has good news you still will be in my thoughts(((hugs)))
Anna I am so happy that all looks well, and you will still be in my thoughts, hoping the surgeon has good news for you, I am distressed to hear so many women complaining how bad mammograms are, this is not right, it should be uncomfortable, not excruciating, I was told the mammogram is as good as your technician, and that squeezing down your breast so damn far is totally un-necessary, by whom you ask? the technician doing my mammogram, I have had two and both were not painful, only mildly sore.
Good luck Anna, positive thoughts are beaming your way all the way from Aotearoa.:)
SO happy to heat that everything went okay, and I'm glad it's nothing serious.;) You will be in my thoughts and in my prayers. :)
Anna,
I'm glad that part is over with. I'll be keeping you in my prayers for your appointment.
Hugs,
Kelly :)
Sorry that it was so painful, but I'm glad the news is positive so far. I hope the surgeon's report will be good as well!
Just a little note to say I'm thinking about you and always here for you.
Love, Robin :)
Oh Anna, I'm sorry, I just saw this thread...(Pet Talk is so busy, it's hard to keep up anymore!)
I'm sorry to hear that you are going through this. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I just know everything will be fine:)
Hugs, kisses and lots of love headed to you!
Anna,
So sorry I only got to read this now.

yeah..I almost missed this. I can't wait until it's tomorrow! (tuesday) -- is the pain getting any worse? I sure hope not. hugs to you,
gina & her ark
That's what the dr told me this afternoon.
I had to go again this moring for another mammo, guess they thought they seen something and had to get a couple of different pictures. Oh how fun that was, now I'm sore again:rolleyes:
But luckily they say they didn't see anything to worry about at this time and if I'm still having the same kind of pain in 3 months come back and we'll do it again, sounds like fun...NOT:p
He has no explainiation as to why I'm so sore (could be fibroids but not sure, maybe a hormonal thing). He said just take some motrin when it hurts, um...that would be all the time, cut down on caffeine...I hardly have it now.
So like I told him basically all this was for nothing (but of course it could have been something, guess I have to look at it like that) and I just have to "live" with the pain.
I honestly don't mean to complain but I'm just upset that we didn't find a reason as to why I'm so sore. Hopefully it will just go away on it's own.
Thanks again everyone for all your thoughts and prayers, they mean the world to me and I just wanted to let you know that I'm fine:)
PS I was just surfing and found a very interesting link so I thought I'd post if:)

Anna,
I hope it's nothing ((((((hugs)))))))) You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
glad to hear there is no physical problem found on teh mamms and ultrasound. sorry that you're still having the pain. there are soooo many causes for breast pain, poorly fitted bras, thyroid pain, nerve pain, beside the cyclic and caffine related ones (BTW no one will ever get my coffee away from me!!). it can be very frustrating to deal with. and rebound pain from anti imflammatories is a possibility, good luck to finding the cause, and soon!
I'm glad they found nothing...but wish they had answer for the pain. Hope you find relief soon.
I know what you mean about being disappointed they didn't find something but still glad to hear it's nothing!
It's so hard in this day and age to realize that doctors really don't have all the answers. It's always so frustrating when they can't find anythiing to treat, which doesn't help our mental state any.
Anna, that's such good news that they didn't find anything wrong in the tests. I'm sorry you are still in pain and hope you'll be rid of it soon.
Don't you feel like strangling a doctor when he tells you "you will have to learn to live with the pain..." I heard that many times.
Great news that they didn't find anything wrong, though I was sorry to hear they couldn't tell you what is causing the pain. I do so hope whatever it is goes away soon.
Keeping you in my prayers.
