Rest In Eternal Peace, Tubby
:(
Dear Debbie and Terry ~
I offer my deepest sympathy.
Wish I could be there to give you both a heartfelt {{{hug}}}.
We've all been blessed by meeting and loving Tubby through your
posts - and we'll never forget him.
I'm sorry that I never purrsonally met him - I had hoped that we'd solve
that problem in the spring at Findlay - since he so enjoyed Trips
in the MotorHowze... a Trip to Findlay seemed a sure thing.
Not to be... :(
I've lost a few very Beloved FurKids over the years...
It isn't easy... a lot of tears are yet to be shed...
But what does help is to share the memories -
Remember the Good Times...
The Frisky Kitten;
The NawTee teenager;
The (sometimes) Loving Senior...
Tubby shared his life with you ~ Rejoice in those Memories.
{{{HUGS}}} to you, Deb; Terry; and Peanut.
With Love,
/s/ :( Phred
.
A Mother's and Dad's Love ~

Donna, you are the first one to refer to Tubby as RB Tubby. I don't know if I'm ready for that yet. <weak smile>
I was in the room with Tubby for awhile after he was "gone" and I finally composed myself and came out. The vet came and got Tubby and it was only left to pay the bill. As the girl handed me my receipt, she gave me a little card with a poem about RB on it. I thought I had it together until then. I started crying again and told her I knew about RB and I had told Tubby I would see him there. She was having a tough time with it all too, and when I told her that she broke down too.
And just so no one wonders, yes Terry was there too, although he couldn't be in the room. He was a total basket case - almost worse than me, so he waited in the lobby, which was fine with me. I wanted the time alone with Tubby. We were alone together when I first got him, and now we were alone together when he left.
