Huh...That's weird. I'm guessing you live in a wealthier area? I've been to China several times for months to visit my family (the ones who refuse to move), and I've *never* seen a pet dog. Of course, my family members are not rich and probably could not afford a dog. The children don't want one anyways...

Most common dog: Definitely Labs. My Pekingese, Goldens, Belgian Tervurens, GSDs, and two Iggies, and of course mutts!

In my neighborhood I see lots of pugs and bulldogs.:)

We have on our street ,, a chow, 2 greys, a boxer, 3 labs, a bassett, and 2 really small furry dogs,, not sure what they are!!! and of course,, my babies,,,, and strangely enuff,, its very quiet,, not much of a barking chain!!!

Pit bulls are what every one here owns. I have a German shepherd, Blk Lab, had a Tervuren (best dog of mine) and 2 Aus. cattle dogs

I would have to say Labs, at least around my house. Probably just the Sporting group in my town. :)

Labrador Retrievers, Siberian Huskies, Beagles, Golden Retrievers, and MANY mixed breeds. :)

2 Beagles in my neighborhood, 4-5 Huskies..

Where I did live I seen alot of Labs, Boxers, and mutts. I also seen alot of Yorkies and Yorkie mixes.

the most popular dog in hong kong is minature schnauzer, followed by golden retriever..:)

I'd say probably Labs and German Shepherds! They rule the roost in our neighbourhood!

I would say Labs, then spaniels and spaniel mixes. There is also a Beagle and GSD. And a little mixed breed.

Pit bulls, cockers, yorkies, and poodles are all very popular around here.

We have 3bichons in our neighorhood including Fritz.There is also a Jack russell terrier,a chocolate lab, a German Shepard and a Siberian husky.

and an Akita.

Our neighborhood has about a million beagles. We didn't know that until we got ours last March and everyone started to come outside again but we live in a really small neighborhood where few people own dogs--those that do have beagles! then labs, dachshunds and some really crazy folks have a HUGE sheepdog.

Deffinatley messed up neurotic backyard breeder "labs" I am cautioned by their owners to stay away because they aren't good with other kids or dogs. We also have 3 or 4 shelties, a Bullmastiff, a Mastiff, 2 corgis(one variety each) a collie and a few mutties! We also have a few dals.

Out here in the country, it's working dogs - border collies and shepherds mostly. I'd say it's an equal mix of the two (with some shepherd/border collie crosses of course).

In town, it was more labs and lab mixes.

That seems to be the type of labs which were prevalent when we lived in town. I don't know if it was the dogs' genetic makeup, or just the fact that all of these "2.5 kids, a dog, a cat, and a picket fence" perfect families didn't understand that dogs don't arrive perfectly well-trained, so they all stuck them out in the yards and left them there.

Around here we have a couple of goldens, labs and mutts.

well i guess the most popular breeds in saudi ...big dogs ( germans, rottweilers) meduim ones ( pit bulls, goldens and dalmations) toy dogs ( maltese, yorkies and shih tzu's)..

i am new too. :)

where i live the big dogs are mostly Presa Canarios and pitbull/put bull crosses.

and the small dogs are mostly yorkies and poodle crosses.

I'd say labs and rotties. :)
