Bless her heart.........what a trip for her! I would imagine you are so anxious to hear how she settles in.
This is an ignorant question, but I thought that England had a quarantine on animals. Obviously this must have changed.
Pictures are here :D

We still have quarantine in England, 6 months worth !!! But there is a newish scheme called Pets Passport which means the animal can go though a waiting period of 6 months in their original country, with various blood tests etc and hence skip quarantine at this end.Quote:

So we adopted Sweet Annie 6 months ago but she stayed with her foster mum Jen for the 6 month holding period and as all her paperwork was up to scratch (welcome done Jen) she was released straight to us. :D
So glad to hear she made it ok and waiting for pics. (tapping foot impatiantly)

Thank you for the explanation of the quarantine.
I know of a family that was returning to their home in England. They had lived in the United States for years and they had several cats that were going back home with them.
They rented a home in Monte Carlo and the husband commuted for six months until the cats could be cleared to be brought into England and go directly home.
The link didn't work, so I am going to rummage and find it myself.
Annie is the same name as my Annie..........an excellent name because she too is very sweet and affectionate.
I'm so glad that sweet Annie is now in the U.K. and also in her forever loving home.:)
