OMG!!! Robyn I don't know how I missed all this fantastic news and excitement! First and foremost I want to thank you so much for suggesting to your mom that you get a shelter kitty. Bless you for doing that.
Second, all the kitties are gorgeous and I'm sure you will pick just the right one! Peter is a stunningly beautiful boy!!
I can't wait to hear how it all goes and just who really ends up coming home with you!!
We will be expecting pictures you know.

I know what you mean about pins and needles - I was bursting to get out of work on Monday to get my first cat 2-1/2 year old I bought from the shelter - I had to pick her up from the vet since they insist (rightly so) that the animals get spay or neutered. So glad she was home safe with me. We are really enjoying our new kitty cat and I'm sure you will be too - it is very exciting - I know you have one already but so glad you are adopting one from the shelter and an older one at that. Even the shelter I went to told me they don't ever adopt out the older cats - if any get adopted they are the kittens. Of course it was an animal control shelter that kills them within 3 days. Have a great time today!!! Give him lots of love and hugs and kisses from me too! :) Debbie
