Good for you girl...you did a great job birthing your kittens. You look like you will be a good momma for them.
Thanks for sharing that Kim...I was happy to hear they were all healthy and she had no complications. Poor girl, I bet she was exhausted by the time she was through.
Congratulations...Wishing them all great health and someday, wonderful furrever homes.

But I am sure she will make a great mother. those kittens are adorable, but then why shoudn't they be- there mother is very pretty and sweet !! I am glad everything went o.k. Sounds like birthing seven kittens was a lot of work for Josephine and you;) ;)
What a good mama! Look how skinny she looks now. Those pics were really neat.
I TOLD you that Josephine would have beautiful babies!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

good feeling, huh?
I have never seen the birth moment before but I have FEEL it before! yees, two little kittens were born ON me while I was sleeping! (no, I couldn't feel them birthing but the queen sure moved a lottt). :)
kim! kim! any names on them yet!? I see a few people who don't like naming them when they are so little but maybe you do!
Good job Kim! The whole family looks super! And Josaphine is likely a great mom because she has had a few litters before- she is well experienced in motherhood! (The staff at Aniimal Rescue League mentioned to me once that they took in a mother cat with 11 kittens- the highest litter count they'd ever heard of- then said the more litters a cat has, the higher the survival rate, so the more kittens in each litter!). Kim, are any of your cats or Tabitha at all aware of what is going on in THAT part of the house? Do they hear kitten mews yet? Or smell special smells?
Yes, Tabitha is well aware ... because she has been booted out of 'her' nursery!:( She is doing great out in the rest of the house with the others, but she still squeals at the door to come in for nursing time! Can't have her getting out of the earlobe habit!!! ;) :DQuote:

Bump for Laura!;)
Absolutely beautiful!
THANK YOU Kim for bumping this up for me!! My poor eyes get SO tired trying to look at everything that I overlook a lot just because my tired ole eyes are wore out! Not having any sleep for 24 hours alone takes them several days to recover from that! Trying to catch up and keep up...PHEW! 28 days worth is a LOT!!
But man! Do I envy you now with SEVEN babies in the house and you get to keep them from birth to toddlerhood and then send them on their way to a great life.. WONDERFUL! I just love that Mama, she is so pretty!! I would be ever so tempted...... and all that in one pile is to beautiful for words!!
How about Tawney? (Is that her name?) What is the latest on that situation? Anything new?
THANKS KIM!!!
Tawny is still here and doing just fine. She is getting playful now .. loves the crocheted catnip mice from Catmandu and Co! :DQuote:
