Well it's just past 7:30pm here on the Wet Coast and I just got home from work.
So we got firemen in slickers???? MMMMM, I'll take one of those please and a double BM for now !
WHERE IS GINI????? She hasn't been here all day........
Is she invisible too??
Laurie: I just noticed that you and I are both August babies. Watch out Seattle, the Lions are in town :D
Hey everybody! Thought I heard the Beatles playing in here...
"Day after day...alone on a hill..The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still..."
Can I get a rum and coke? (Roman coke, hah!)

Rumola Coke for you. DONE! Hope you are sticking around for a while :)
HUmmmmmm this fireplace is so nice and warm. Can I get a hotbuttered rum ? It sounds really relaxing. (whisper) hey willie can you get me a towel Mario is slopping in his sleep on my lap.
Thanks for the nightcap, Slick.
What's that playing? "Get back, get back, get back to where you once belonged...Get back, JoJo!"
I've been working too much, and hanging out in threads like "The Evolution Of Religion" and "America, A Modern Fascist State?"
Glad to be here now. That fire is nice, always liked to stare at the flames...so, is life treating you guys allright?
Corinna: HBR and a towel. DONE! Don't forget to change his diaper before he leaves a stain on the couch. Richard will have my head on a platter if it's soiled.
Hey Andy: (I think that's your name??? Tell me if I'm wrong...) Forget religion and fascists for a change. Have a seat in the recliner by the fire and relax the brain.
What's that John Lennon song where he talks in the middle of it saying "Number 9" "Number 9" over and over. I'm racking my feeble brain but I can't think of it.
Hey I'm done changing diapers if i smell something I'll yell! but thanks for the towel.
Thanks for the HBR !
Richard prayers here to you for strengh to help your friend. Also prayers for the whole family. Please feel free to pm if you need to talk or I have instant messaging or aim I'll pm you both of those.
Slick- it's called "Revolution #9" on the White album. The infamous song with the hidden message if you turn the record backwards on the turntable. I play a lot of the songs from that album. One of my favorites-
"Blackbird singing in the dead of night...take these broken wings and learn to fly...All your life...you were only waiting for this moment to arrive..."
Appropriate for cyber-relaxing?
Got to go tonight see ya all in the AM
Well look who's here, my brother-in-law! Long time, no see!! Where has Ann been keeping you hid? Did she have you locked in a cage and you escaped or what???
Sorry about Mario, Corinna. Sometimes he gets gooey when he is eating cherries.
I'll take another Hot Buttered Rum. Right now I have a killer headache. Need something to make me forget I even I have a head.
Oh yea, #9. Now I remember.
One of my favourite songs:
In the town where i was born,
There lived a man,
Who sailed the seas,
And he told us of his life,
In the land of Submarines,
So we sailed into the sun,
Till' we found a sea of green,
And we lived beneath the waves,
In our yellow submarine,
-Chorus-
We all live in a yellow submarine,
A yellow submarine,
A yellow submarine,
We all live in a yellow submarine,
A yellow submarine,
A yellow submarine.
Good night Corinna. Sleep tight.
Willie: you don't want to mix booze and drugs so I guess a HBR is in order. DONE!
Goodnight, Corinna. Be careful getting home! (One advantage of cyber-bars!)
Willie, glad you stopped in before I turn into a pumpkin.
Vickie, if you'll sing the lead, I do the harmony part on YS.

Sky of blue and sea of green......in our yellow submarine...
Thanks to everyone who makes Thursday a special place...
No matter what happens, Thursdays is the best day of the week.
You all rock......
I've got to play a few more Beatles tunes, do you remember...
"Words are flying out like endless rain into a paper cup...they slither while they pass, they slip away across the universe...Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my open mind, possessing and caressing me..."
NO, you rock Richard. Can't wait to meet you in July. Sorry you've been having such a "ruff" week with all the bumps. We are here for you, now and always. (OMG that just sounded like wedding vow  )Quote:

Richard, a nightcap for you before you got to bed and Andy, let's sing the chorus one more time....all together now
We all live in a yellow submarine,
A yellow submarine,
A yellow submarine,
Good night all. See you in the morning.
Have you hugged your pet tonight????
Whoopee, I got to hear this! Come on Andy and Slick sing it!!!:D
"Somewhere in the black mining hills of North Dakota there lived a young boy named Rocky Raccoon...One day his woman ran off with another guy...hit young Rocky in the eye...Rocky didn't like that, he said "I'm gonna get that boy."
So one day he walked into town and booked himself a room in the local saloon...Rocky Raccoon...checked into his room...only to find Gideon's Bible..."
G'morning everyone. oooo sore and achy moans abound from slips and slides and falling down. Let me clean up a bit and start some nice warm comfort food and maybe some mulled cider with a cinnamon stick. Or would that be a muled cider? We are PetFriendly after all. Maybe Mario would like a ride on the mule. OUT BACK MARIO! No mules in the bar until later. Let me clean up the cherry pits at least.
Good Morning All,
Thought I would venture in and see what all the Thursday stuff is about..heheh.
I'm with Val, 1964 was a great year. That's the year I was born also. I have a beatles cd...#1's...is what I think it is called. I'll have to get it out and play it today.
Alden and I are celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary! So a round of drinks on us please!
I would like to start out with a DOTD please, sounds yummy.
Sorry to those who have fell and are hurting today and Richard I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through a rough patch. Hang in there everyone!
Robin :p
Good morning, earlybirds! Do you mind if I play another from 1966 Rubber Soul? I think John and Paul had a vision of the internet???
"I was alone...I took a ride...I didn't know what I would find there...Another road ...where maybe I could meet another kind of mind there...
"Ooh...then I suddenly see you...Ooh... did I tell you I neet you...every single day...of my life."
I have a pot of coffee on, for those that have to make it to work today. Life is good!:)
Good morning everyone! Hope this day is better for everyone.
I can remember receiving my first Beatles album. I got it for Christmas. And a portable recordplayer......wow, does that make me feel old.
I'd love a mulled cider this morning. Let me help sweep the place out.
Good morning!!!
I'll have a coffee--sounds great on this cold cold morning!!!
Let's have a toast for Robin and her husband--21 years, and still going strong!!!!:)
At my wedding a year and a half ago, I wanted to do a dance with my dad. I told him he could pick the song, and he did--it was the Beatles, "In My Life"--it was a beautiful moment!!!
Laurie!!
Mule-d cider at the OUTBACK?! Throw in a serving of Sydney's Sinful Sundae and I'm soo there! ;)

I'm not really a Beetles fan so I'll sit this Thurs. out.
Have fun, guys!
**yawn**
Good morning everyone! As I look out my window I can see it's going to be another cool but sunny day. Come on Spring, hurry up and get here. Thanks for cleaning up the cherry pits Laurie. Andy, what a lovely voice you have.
Tonya, you don't have to be a Beatles fan to join in on the fun. Just come in, sit by the fire and enjoy some good conversation.:)
RL: DOTD for you and congrats on the wedding anny!
Robin: mulled cider for you.
LMS: Nice to have you join us. Help yourself to the coffee.
Let's drink to a better day with no falls, bumps, or lumps.
Would someone please tell me if they have seen Gini?? Has she lost her way here?
Good morning all. I guess thanks to 2 men(hubby and BenGay) in my life last night and a hot Bath I'm not as sore as I thought I was going to be . Buut I am not walking anywhere out side today (snowing again!!!!!!)*&^%$#@
I think I'll have a diet soda today .oh I'll get it my self. I brought a cheese and bacon quiche have at it .
Just saw that Catmandu is back so heres to you Gary(raises can)
Looks like the cat cruise is never going to end glad my two stayed home , I needed the "organic heaters" last night.
Cheese & bacon quiche, excellent choice! How about if I put some stuffed baked apples together with butter, brown suger and maybe some with raisens to go with the quiche. Now that's comfort food  Maybe Gini is giving Richard a hand at work so they can both come and play today. Feb 1964 I was in high school. One of the first U.S. concerts they gave was here in DC. Didn't have tickets but some friends & I (along with a kazillion other screaming mimi's) went to the hotel were we heard they were staying. Didn't spot them but it was fun and exciting anyway :p
Cheese and bacon quiche?? I hope there's some left--sounds yummy!!!!!! You all always come up with the best stuff for this place--everyone should eat and drink this well!!!!
There's more snow in our forecast--freezing rain, sleet, 6 inches of snow, and more freezing rain:eek:
I'm just gonna stay here all day:eek: !!!
Hey everyone! Looks like a sleep bunch, except Andy there, but then he is a morning person.
I'll help clean the place up, Mario is the one throwing cherrie pits in the floor. So I think I should be the one to clean up after that little meanie.
I think I'll start out with the DOTD and cheers to catmandu, it is nice to have him back isn't it??
I hope everybody is feeling better today after the fall and spill you took yesterday and before. Just glad nobody got broken..
I haven't seen gini since she went visible!
Richard I hope your day is going well, sorry to hear you are feeling out of the loop.
Anyway, Cheers!!

Are you going to take pictures for us???
I would but i did a dumb thing and throw out the software for my camera Now I have to try to find it again. I will take my 35 mm but may take a while to get it developed. I'm really bad at getting it in to be developed. last batch had pictures 2 years old on it. I think at the Whitefish chamber of commerce site has the calendar of events. I'll see if I can find it and post it.
Keep this great fire going while I go check.
Corrina, how long did it take you and you daughter to plan her wedding? My daughter fiance has already went out and bought the cake toper, and some other stuff. It has been so long since my other daughter got married, that I don't remember what comes first and what comes last. I need your HELP!!
I think they are moving the wedding date up to December of this year, instead of May of next year...
I need big, big, strong drink!!
Willie~
I'm not Corinna, but I'm going to butt in anyway.
I got married in August of 2002, and didn't start planning until Feb of that year--I had a lot of help from my wonderful stepmother and my sister, and it was a lot of work, but we did it!!!!!
I can find you a checklist of things you need to do, if you wish. I still have a lot of those old wedding websites saved on my computer. If you (or your daughter) go to www.theknot.com , you can put in the date of the wedding, and it gives you a weekly checklist--some of it was things I didn't need, but it did help me to remember the things I did need!!!
If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask!!!
She already has the most important part, her fiance, so the rest should be a breeze!!!:)
willis we are still working on it . Hers is July 3rd. We have stil to get the invatations finished. but most all other is done. You can get a fairly inexpensive wedding planner cd at most staples or office max the one we are using gives a day by day what needs to be done.
we have the boquet yet to get and order the buttoners . the place shes having it plants so many flowers that she need not have any others. We have the cake to still decide on but we lucked out on that one of my girlfriends is a decorator for Costco so shes coming a day early to do the cake.
Just have to makle a trip to Great falls (overnight) to find his tux he wants a Doc Holiday type of western style.
Noew the bad news we have been working on it since Sept. .
I thought they weren"t getting married for a couple years did I mss something while I didn't have a computer?
Love my shiba : the best site for info is WWW. Whitefishchamber.com
a couple others on Miontana and the area WWW. whitefishmt.com

Hey, here I am, I yam............
Yesterday was just one of those days from hell............my painter showed up (didn't know he was coming) to put on new hardware in my service porch he had just painted. Then he tells me that he wants to paint my picnic table. I was thinking June would have been a good month to do that - right before the BBQ. But he is here......so why not? It is a redwood table. He goes to get the paint and comes back with FIRE ENGINE RED. The color was sort of like Tray's slicker. Uh, I don't think so.........I say.
With all of this going on it was after 2:30 pm when he left. I had so much work to do - just kept at it until late last night. I had no fun at all.
Gotta share a funny Beatles story with you - I will start another post.
Yup, it's me again.
My step-mother had a sister who was a nun. She was teaching in a Catholic high school here in California. I remember having this conversation with her about the Beatles.
She remarked that the lyrics were just plain stupid............
yellow submarine - yellow submarine - yellow submarine......now isn't that stupid?
And she was teaching her whole class that these guys would just never make it.
I remember standing there thinking (keep your mouth shut....keep your mouth shut......keep your mouth shut.)
Sorry to hear about the rotten day. Glad your here now though . Did you ever say aanything to the nun ?
well it's really snowing here now. YUCK I WANT SPRING!!!!!!!!
And THEIR generation had such intellegent lyrics....
itty bitty fissies in a widdie bittie pond, and dey fwam and dey fwam all over da dam  oh yeah
For everyone that fell, ouch! and I hope nothing is broken.
I have a neighbor who tripped on a tiny raised portion of sidewalk - and went down hard. She has a fracture in her pelvic bone - it has been five weeks and she still isn't back to 100% - has to use a cane or walker. So everyone, please be careful.
Now, on to more serious things........I think I need a nice strong bloody mary this morning. Oh, does that sound good - with a crisp piece of celery.
Tray, your slicker is so becoming (or going) on you............
Mario - quit spitting those pits all over the place...........you just hit me on the nose!
