No, she won't have to stay overnight. :)They always send them home with me. I was wondering how the anesthetic will affect her. Killian is always very jumpy and wants to go out a lot, after surgery.

Dropped my Shiloh off at the vet already. She will have the three lumps removed and have the suspicious one sent out for biopsy. They'll clean her teeth while they're at it, since she's under. They were going to run a liver panel, etc. on her too to be sure nothing is going on with her. Worried about the suspicious lump, though.
Sue, we'll be thinking about Shiloh this morning and hoping that everything will be just fine. I know you are a nervous wreck! I can completely sympathize! Hang in there, and let us know when you get the sweet girl home with her "pearly whites". Murphy had her dental cleaning while she was under last week too, and her teeth look so much better!!!
Hugs to Mom and Killian while you wait for Shiloh to be finished today!! :)
I JUST GOT A CALL!!!
The vet said that all three lumps were removed and the one on her leg was a CYST!!!!! She cut it open to be sure and it is a CYST. She said it's an odd place to have a cyst, but ya never know!!! No biopsy necessary!!!!! I am so relieved!! I was really worried about this one. Shiloh is still under and getting her teeth cleaned, though. The vet just had to call and give me the good news!!!!! Woohoo! Thanks for the prayers!
Dear Shiloh and Sue, we're thinking of you both today with lots of love! Sounds like you've got a lot on your plate today, sweet Shiloh. And I know how worried your Mommy must be. Be strong for her!! And we'll be saying some extra special prayers that you come through with flying colors, and especially that your biopsy comes back negative! We love you guys! We'll be waiting anxiously to hear that your home safe and sound! Love, Aunt Sandra, Cody and Star! {{{hugs}}}
WOOHOO!! YAY! A CYST!!! What a great vet to call and let you know right away. I know you are taking a couple of deep breaths now and whispering a little word of thanks to the Good Lord! I am soooo happy for you!!
Aunt Sandra!!! It's just a cyst!!! I am sooooo glad. (I'm crying!)
Thanks for the prayers, everyone!!!
You don't know how scared I was!!! If I could do a cartwheel, I would, I'm so happy!!!!!!
Yippppeeee !!! :D ANother answered prayer !!

Logan
PS. It is a little boring around here today, but I cherish the quiet snoring of my Murphy, and Honey and Lilly are snoozing in the bedroom too, with Butter!!!! :)
F A N T A S T I C!! :D
I waited to check and see how Shiloh did. That is such great news!
I'm with tatsxxx11 "All paws are clapping and cheering for sweet Shiloh and family!!!!!" Couldn't have said it better.
Yayy. I get to pick her up at 4:00! The house is so quiet without her. However, Killian got to eat his food without being bothered (so, of course, he didn't eat it all  ) He has been looking all over for her and sniffing me. The good thing is that I can go into the kitchen cabinets and the fridge alone, no big nose pushing her way in too! LOL.
Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. It works!!!!
I'm so glad to hear that all went well, and it was just a cyst:D
Now maybe you can let out a big *sigh* of relief that all is well in your world.
When your sweetie comes home, give her a big ol' hug from me!
Wonderful, wonderful news!:) :) Please give her a big hug and kiss from me.
chris
YAAAAAAAY for Shiloh! I'm so glad she's okay, Sue. The last thing you need is another baby to get sick. Just a short time before you'll be picking her up and she'll be pushing her way to that fridge again in no time :D :D I'm very happy for you and your family!
What great news, Sue!!! Now all little Shiloh has to do is come back home and take a long nap. When she wakes up she'll smile at you with her shining white teeth and all will be well.
Hugs to you, Killian and the sweet baby.
Count me in as another one letting out one big *whew*. That gust of wind that blew by was probably the result of all Pet Talkers combined sighs of relief. Maybe when Shiloh gets home she will give us a big smile with those fresh pearly whites.
Wonderful news!!! I am so glad our prayers and paw crossing worked!!! :D
She's home!!! She has a few stitches here, there, everywhere! OK, three spots. She has a cute red bandage on her leg. IF she doesn't try to pull the stitches out, she won't need a cone. (fingerscrossed). She is really dopey now. Very, very sleeeeeppppyyyyy.
Great news!! Take good care of Shiloh (I know you will), and give her a kiss from me!! I love happy news!!
well I found this thread just now, and I am glad that Shiloh is better, and it wasn't serious!:) :)
How's the patient doing???
Tanks fur askin, Ant Sandra,
My Mom won't let me do nothin'. I got yelled at for steppin in the mud with my bandage and runnin after da visitin dog next door by the fence. Now she's makin me wear a tshirt sose I dont pick at my stitches on both my sides. I got a red bandage on my leg (with mud on it now) sose I don't chew out those either. Mom had to stuff new gauze stuff inna bandage, causes she didn't want mud on the incizion. I'm eatin ok, but I like to whine a bit to get some attention. Here's my sad face...it works every time hehehe

Oh my!! What a face. It's just pitiful. I imagine it breaks your momma's heart when you do that. Shame on you!
Of course, if it works - oh well!!
:D
Oh, sweet, precious, pitiful Shiloh girl!!! That sad, "woe is me" face sure worked on me!!:) Now, don't go messing up your pretty red bandage!! And no picking at your stuffing or your zippers!!:D Listen to your Mommy. She's know best! And I know you don't have to give her "that look" for very long before she's down on "all 4's" smothering you with love and kisses! Make sure she gives you lots for me too! And of course, Cody Girl and Star***Shine send you lots of get well slurpy licks and happy Labbie butt wiggles! Sleep well, sweet Shiloh! And please tell Killian we send him our love!! Love, yer pals, Aunt Sandra, Cody and Star!:)
oh, Sue, what a great picture of Shiloh!:) It took my breath away for a moment cos of my RB shepards Duke and Penny, that look is so familiar!:)
Please give her, and Killi too, a big hug and kiss from me.
Chris
Oh Sue what a gorgeous picture of your girl! We need more pictures of Killian and Shiloh!! What a beauty she is and I can see where that "look" could get her anything she wants. It would sure work for me! Oh my - what a job keeping all of those areas clean and undisturbed. You have quite a challenge on your hands. I guess you might be getting the rain that we are getting now which will turn everything to mud as soon as the snow leaves. Sounds like you have your work cut out for you. :)
Shiloh, you stunning beauty, how could anyone resist that face of yours? I hope you stay out of the mud so you won't get those stitches dirty.
Sue, please give that gorgeous girl a big kiss from me :)
Thanks you ebbrybody, this morning Mom started givin me lots of kisses (more than I usually get) and I looked up and asked why (with my eyes). She told me they were from the most wonderful people on the earth! PetTalkers!!! Thanks you, PetTalkers!!! Killi gives a wag, too!!!
Shiloh (starting to feel pretty good now)
I would give into that face anytime:D
I'm sure glad to hear she's doing better!
Can your Mommy manage to fit in a few more kisses....PLEASE???:) Love you Shiloh and Killi!!
Oh my!! Shiloh, is there anything I can get you? A blankie, a cookie, maybe some ice cream? I'd do anything if you looked at me like that!!!!;)
Hehehehehe....Shiloh sure does know how to work it!!!Quote:

Shiloh girl,
that face is worth an Academy Award.;) You are a great actress, besides being such a beautiful pup. We are so glad to know you're feeling better...Now, if you would just stay out of the mud and try to keep that red stocking clean it would make your mommy very happy.
Hugs and kisses to you and Killie.
That's a great picture of Shiloh! Glad to hear she is doing better!
That's a great picture!! I just found this thread now, and glad to hear that she is doing OK...You had me worried there. She is one gorgeous pup!!!
I was glad to see some good news this morning while catching up, Sue. :) That picture is priceless!! What we won't do for them when they look so pitiful like that!!! :)
That's wonderful news. Glad to hear it was just a cyst. Hope she won't have to wear the lampshade.:)
Sue..sorry I've been out of the loop for a spell (really good reasons) ..but it's NEVER too late to send out a Hip*Hip*Hooray for Shiloh (whadaface!) It's been a few days so I hope she's well recovered. Big hugs to all of you and extra loud smackers between the eyes for Kili and Shi....
Shiloh is doing very well. On Wednesday, all her stitches will be removed. She is still sporting her lovely red t-shirt with matching leg band. I may just take it off today because her incisions look really good (but leave the one on the leg so it doesn't get dirty)! I will post a pic as soon as I use up all the film on the role. :DQuote:
