You're all very welcome; Pantera is indeed a camera ham, and appreciates the attention (especially the pets sent to her :):):) )
This is an awful photo: horrible flourescent lighting, slow shutter speed (yes, I know I should have pushed the ISO, but it was already too high. Hence the graininess). But that pose...:love::love::love:

Pantera, you have everybody wrapped around your velvet paw. I think this picture captures it perfectly!
Looks like shes listening in on something :D
such a pretty girl!
Pantera is a very gorgeous kitty!
I don't have as much time to post as I did before, but I do what I can. Here's a couple of recent pics of Pantera. At 14 months she's still a kitten, and still growing :eek:

Thanks to everyone for the comments :):):):):):)
She is getting so tall!
AWWWWWwwwwwww!! So long and tall! She keeps getting more gorgeous than ever.
Thanks, Lucho and Pantera!
:love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love:
Shes going to be one those lanky kitties that you can turn into a scarf if you were to wrap her around your shoulders :D
Surprisingly, Pantera kept growing well past 12 months. Instead of getting long and lanky she filled out- instead being built like a basketball player she's built like a rugbier. At 5kg (11 lbs.) she weighs as much as the male cats around here, and is more muscular than many of them :eek::love::love:
Apologies to everyone at this site. I disappeared because my life changed. In a good sense, of course. I moved to another part of town, and sorting out the change in residence, adapting work, and paying off the move all took more time than expected. On a positive note, Pantera likes the new place, esp. the veranda.
My my, how time flies. Soon, the first week of April,Pantera will complete two years of age :eek::eek::eek::love::love: Naturally, there will be a celebration: a barbeque with different types of meat for Pantera to savor
Pantera was already something else at 14 months

One of the most recent photos, taken about two weeks ago. In just a couple of weeks she'll complete two years of age. Wow

Pantera, you are gorgeous. You are all grown up now.
I hope you'll enjoy your barbecue.
I am glad the move went well, and that everybody is enjoying the new home!
Pantera, you are gorgeous! How nice to see you again, and how nice that you are enjoying your new home.
Looking forward to learning all about your birthday celebrations next month!
:love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love:
Not the best quality photo- it's a little blurry- but it shows that Pantera is still a camera ham :D:D

AWWwwwwww! Beautiful!!!

Even with the lockdown things are busy here. Even so, here's a new photo of Pantera, taken a couple of days ago

Pantera is so gorgeous!
I envy those creatures, not knowing anything about our worries, just here to please us and sleep and eat and play.
She has such pretty expressive eyes!
Her green eyes are stunning and her black coat so shiny! She really has grown into a beauty! I'm so glad she likes her new home. :)
Thanks :love::love::):) Pantera knows how to use her look to communicate without uttering a sound (so when she does speak, it really gets attention :D)Quote:

Isnt it weird how they can surprise us in so many ways :love: i thought my late cat would turn out like yours,, fill out an be muscular an what not but no... she stayed small an lanky like a basketball player build. though youd never know it by looking at her but once i picked her up she sprawled out like a slinky an became 3times longer than her appearance let on LOL
all the photos are fanatic of her! shes turned into such a young lady :D
congratulations on the move an positive change in both your lives :D
Pantera, you are absolutely stunning! So nice to see you again. You're gorgeous with that sleek, shiny black fur and those lovely big golden-green eyes!
Congratulations on the move and all the positive changes in your lives!

Been busy with Real Life, but some things never change: Pantera is still the boss :D:D:love::love::love:

Lazy afternoons, birdwatching. Pantera's fur is beginning to get bleached out like a surfer. When this happens you can see very faint "ghost tabby" striping in full daylight :cool::cool:

Just an update: Pantera continues to train Pimenta like a drill sergeant, and generally never lets the little one forget who's in charge.
Outside of that, the two girls seem to be finally free of the parasite infestation that both of them had. Pantera lost nearly a full kilogram, more than 20% of her body weight. The cure took multiple treatments. Now slimmer, Pantera looks like when she was much younger, and acts like a kitten too. Pimenta is a little afraid of Pantera's playful moods :eek::eek::D:D

My how time flies, and how things change... Here's an interesting before and after: Pantera at five months, and now two years later. What a difference :love::love:

AWWWwwwww! So beautiful!!!
:love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love:
Pantera loves the new apartment- having completed the first year here, she likes it better than the old apartment, with one exception: Pantera has a clear preference for colder twemperatures.
While Pimenta seems largely indifferent to the heat, Pantera is not a fan

Pantera has not been happy about the weather; she's counting the days for summer to end, with nearly every day reaching or passing 38°C (or over 100°F). On the days that the temperature drops to something more reasonable (esp. at night) Pantera reverts to playing like a kitten; nonstop running, jumping, and tossing Pimenta around like a ragdoll

AWWWWWwwwwwww! again! Pantera, you're absolutely gorgeous, too!
And again, great photos and thank you, Lucho, and how could you miss with another perfect model?!!!
:love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love:
Photogenic pets do indeed make it so much easier to get pictures of
my dog will still pose for me even when i didnt bring the camera on our walk :confused: LOL
sounds like shes feeling her oats all the more after the parasites have been ridden of :D
Real Life has yet again conspired to keep me from posting but I'm here with a post to make up for it. Last weekend was Pantera's third birthday. Three years already! :eek::love::love: To celebrate we had a barbeque in her honor. This was partly based on experience that, outside of tuna Pantera doesn't seem to like fish all that much. What she really likes is red meat and turkey. At the last BBQ that I did, Pantera stopped accepting chicken after she tried the turkey. Pimenta saw this, and imitated Pantera, proof that both of them can taste the difference between chicken and turkey (cooked over a fire, a inner piece without any real seasoning). With pork, Pantera only accepts filet mignon, and has never liked porkchops, bacon, or ham. The girl's got expensive tastes.:cool::D The main attraction was the beef: Pantera adores beef in the same way the cats supposedly love fish
Satisfied from eating pork filet, beef, and poultry Pantera was wound up like a child hopped up on a sugar rush. Pimenta was also wound up, but she kept more to the sidelines: she's still afraid of Pantera's playful moods (not without cause...). All in all, an enjoyable birthday celebration for Pantera :love::love:

Happy third birthday, gorgeous Pantera!
Looking gorgeous as ever, happy purrthday, Pantera!
Life goes on; even though I've been absent around here, Pantera and Pimenta are still healthy, happy, and very rambunctious. And Pantera still calls the shots, as if there were any doubt :p:D:D
https://bl6pap004files.storage.live....&cropmode=none
The difference between artificial and natural lighting is enormous: the first photo was taken at night. This second photo accurately shows Pantera's true color (she actually has green eyes, with no yellow )

Before and After photos are great. First pic is her at a mere 14-15 weeks old, and now at three and a half years: this one shows that some things will never change, one of which is Pantera's personality and her knack for intimidation :D:D:rolleyes:
https://bl6pap004files.storage.live....&cropmode=none
Gorgeous shots of dear Ms. Pantera, too! Thanks again, Lucho!
:love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love:
I just saw Pantera's photo on the other thread. I'm becoming a fan. How old is she?
Like Isaid in the previous post, Apologies to all for disappearing again. Real Life has that effect :(
It's that time of the year again: Pantera had her birthday this last weekend. Four years!! To celebrate, we organized a barbeque. While we weren't able to give her what she really likes- turkey, duck, and the like- Pantera ate a good amount of chicken, pork filet, and lots of beef. Needless to say, she definitely enjoyed the day. Of course Pimenta also had a very good time.
Happy Fourth Birthday Pantera :cool::love::love::cool:
