He turned 8 weeks old TODAY. :( I can already see him growing up a little bit. He has gained weight, not sure how much he weighs but we will find out next week for his appointment to get another round of shots & weigh in!
He is simply adorable! I bet he will grow quite big. :love:

It is NOT uncommon for puppies to come in for vet checkups and have a heart murmur. As you said, 95% of the time they go away as they get older, sometimes by the second visit even. I know you know this, I just wanted to throw it out there to others that seem concerned by this finding. Also, it absolutely can be missed on one visit, either that or the previous vet did not do a complete physical and listen to the heart. In ANY case, the babe will most likely be totally fine :)Quote:
