Congratulations to Betty and her staff:D Those babies are adorable and I can see why she is ever so proud of herself and her little family:love:
Barbara your timing is impeccable:D Couldn't have done better myself:p Enjoy loving on all those little munchkins and please give us updates as you can. How is the rest of your family handling this situation?? Seigmar I know loves kitties and is probably smitten with them all:love:
I hope your eyes are healing well and that you get to feeling 100% in no time at all.
Hugs from Betty and Eve
Oh, what beautiful babies! And you're right, Candace, about Betty making her happy feet while they are nursing.. I hadn't noticed that at first look, but how sweet it is!
Congratulations, Betty and babies! And thank you, Barbara.
:love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love:
Those babies are just so darn cute. I noticed in the second photo that a little orange from Mom is coming through those stripes. It appears that she mated with only one other cat... ahemmmm. Good girl.
Betty must be so happy to have such an attentive group of monitors available to her. And a Vet, too! Wow. I hope this is her last litter and that she will find a good home ... and of course, I hope her babies thrive and also find good homes.
I wish people would spay and neuter their animals.
I love widdle kittens so, SO.... I would not make a good foster Mom, as I would name them all, and TRY to keep them all.
Keep those photos coming. You know, we are all fans of photos of kittens....
:love::love::love::love::love:
Thanks for baby sitting, Barbara. I know it is difficult work, to keep your hands off the kittens, that is!:p;):D
Yay! welcome, baby kittens!!
Aww!!! I can't wait to see more pictures of the tiny tots!! Glad to hear they are all doing fine now :D  Give them tiny scritches and kisses from me ;)

The little kitty hill :D  Aww!!
My thoughts exactly. And she told me under tears that he had promised to marry her:p
Betty will probably stay in the house- if she is a little nicer with the other cats that is. We think she is protective right now- but she even gave 15 lb Karlo a run for his money. But she definitely will be neutered. She is now in a cat proof garden with 2 other ladies (neutered) and one neutered tom- so we can wait a little with the neutering.
Right now Christine has homes for 2 babies. She wants to talk one of them into taking 2 and talks about keeping one. I tell her- after you had them 8-10 weeks you'll probably be happy to see them go. Trouble, your name is kitten! I just can't wait for them to begin mischievous and moving and ....:love::love:
Awww, adorable! And what a good mom!
awwww! how sweet!
Congratulations to the proud mom Betty and mom Barbara :)

I cannot see much orange in them- they seem to be the normal tabby variety.
Mom just loves them and is a very very good mom:

She allows us to hold the kittens- it is so sweet to have a little fuzzball in your hand:

Betty is a tiny lady and so she really has to eat- you can see how skinny she is:

I won't be able to post the next days (2nd eye cataract surgery) but there will be new pics for the weekend
Beautiful pictures, and what beautiful cats! Thank you for sharing them with us and for taking such good care of them all.
Good wishes and healing energies and love to you with your next surgery.
:love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love:,
Pat and cats
Thanks for the newer pictures of the babes. My Dad gave me
the nickname Betty when I was younger. The Orange Betty looks so
healthy & contented with her little ones. They look so sweet.:)
Oh those teeny weenies are beyond adorable!!! I'm hopelessly in love with the fuzzy little pile of sleeping babies, is there anything that looks more peaceful? How can so much love fit in such a small package?
Please give everyone some gentle lovies for me?
Awwww, such cuties, and Betty is doing a great job with them, too. So sweet!
They're so adorable.:) Yes, I agree that Betty needs to gain some weight. I'm so glad that she now has a wonderful loving home.:)
Prayers for you, and I hope your surgery goes well and fine.
Loved the photos! :D I love the photo in which the mother eating and you can see her back. The pattern and color of the mother is lovely :) Hugs and kisses for the little ones and for the mother, too ;) :)
Betty and her babies are just purely precious:love::love: Love and good care tells it all:D
Hmmm is that Seigmar holding a little one? Has he given the baby a name yet???;)
My eyes are fantastic and the kitties thrive- so life is good!
Let's see:

Betty is very proud of doing such a good job of raising her kittens.

They begin to have faces now.
http://petoftheday.com/talk/picture....pictureid=4754
You can't see it but they also move around much more.
http://petoftheday.com/talk/picture....pictureid=4755
But there is still a lot of sleeping and snuggling going on.
But- the first eyes are open. Little lion here wants to climb but he is still a little too weak!

What a delightful way to spend a few minutes - pictures of Betty and her brood. they are all so darn cute.
Thanks for sharing with us - and I'm so happy your eyes are fine :)
Betty should be proud - such beautiful and healthy kittens:love: And they are so fluffy - oh my!!!
The staff is doing an awesome job with these little ones - I can see their little baby smiles - life certainly is good:D
Barbara, I'm so happy for you that the surgeries went well and your eyes are improved. Hugs, Betty
Thanks, Barbara. Such nice pictures! All those cute little eyes just beginning to open...
And so good to learn that YOUR eyes are doing fine!
:love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love:
They're so adorable and I'm also glad that your eye surgery went well too.:)
Great news on your surgery - I bet you can see things in incredible detail!
The kittens are thriving and Momma looks so proud. Does her tongue always stick out like that, or is she trying to be cute?;) (She doesn't have to try - she just is! :D )
Betty, your babies are beautiful! It's clear to see what a great job you're doing with them since they're so healthy and growing!
Hi Barbara, I'm happy to hear that your surgery went well. I had cataract surgery on both eyes about 3 years ago and the difference is astounding! It took a short while to get used to seeing so clearly without glasses. It was well worth it!
Would you give Betty and the babies some lovies for me? It must be wonderful having all that cuteness with you all the time. Thank you for helping them and caring for them!
The kits look sooooo cute. And Betty looks happy. You are so great for taking her in.
Congrats on the surgery going well. I had it done in the summer of '93. The early cataracts were the best thing that ever happened to me. It got lenses defective since birth replaced.
Betty is beautiful, and the kittens are so precious!
They are all (including Betty) just adorable! Thank you for sharing, and I'm so glad you're surgery went well! {{{hugs}}} all around from here!
Betty really has a cold- she has problems breathing and sounds like an old door in a spooky movie. The vet has been there 2 times and left some antibiotic stuff that will not harm the kittens and which she takes as if she knew how important it is to stay healthy.
The vet was very happy with the kittens - they are healthy little fuzzbombs;)
So the first picture I have today has been at 10 days, the second at 12 days. I feel I can see them growing.

And we have some very good news: a co-worker of mine just came and said: "I hear you have access to kittens!!!" She plans to get a kitten for her little girl and today the whole family visited. The little girl (about 5) was very nice and sweet with the kittens. They will have her allergy tested- very responsible and now the only worry we have is "How can we get them to take two;)"
The kittens seemed to like the idea too- they are some stout little guys and girls who feel absoultely safe in this world:)
:D:D:D such roly poly little fuzzballs :love::love: they are too cute and I can't imagine anyone having resistance to these little kittens.
You have all done a wonderful job feeding, loving and socializing these little ones - they will be amazing additions to any family and especially children:D
Well done staff - says Betty;)
I hope Betty gets to feeling better soon; she sure lucked out when she found you:love:
They are so sweet. The second picture, far left...adorable face. Hope the mama cat is feeling better soon. I seem to remember my cat Mama getting a cold when she went back to the vet to get spayed after she had the kittens. I am thinking her kittens never got sick but my two older cats did get a cold. The kittens probably have good immunity from their mama. :)
And, isn't it just amazing to see the mama with her babies and how good they are with their kittens. It is really an experience to go through.
What adorable little growing babies!
And what good news about the future home and family for one (two!) of them.
Thank you, Betty and Barbara, for doing such a good job!!!!!
:love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love:
Where oh where is the cuteness overload warning? It definitely is needed for these two pictures!!!
The babies are beyond adorable and look like real little sweethearts. And I do see mischief on their sweet little faces. Here's hoping they all find loving furever homes.
I'm sorry to hear that Mama Betty has a cold. Betty, feel better soon.
Sending lots of scritchies and lovies to Mama and her beautiful babies
They sure are cutie pies.:D I hope that their mama will start feeling better soon.
Hope Mama Betty takes her meds & starts to feel better soon. The kits
are sooooo cute.:) I can really see a difference in the two pictures. There
is a real awareness in their faces in the 2nd pic. Growing like weeds.:D
Such adorable babies! Thanks for updating us on them. My friend Beth - the pregnant human I mentioned, still hasn't had her baby, but if it doesn't happen by then, she has an appointment to be induced Thursday.
OMG! I wonder how cute and tiny their mews would be! :D :love::love::love:
Have you tried to tell them the theory: two kittens keep each other company/busy, and out of trouble....? Or do you think that would be an out and out lie? Hehehehehehe!
I really do believe kittens love to have kitten company.
The photos make me want to adopt one myself. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I am so happy you have had the vet look at Mom and the kittens. Not many folks do that early on, and end up with problems down the road. Smart idea!
How soon will you allow the kittens to go to their new homes? Once they are weaned? I have forgotten the recommended adoptions week. My breeder of my Abys would not let them go until their 12th week. I think that is a bit much, but Abys are a tad slow in development.
It will be hard to see them go, I bet. It would be for me. Just as long as you can keep in touch with the owners, it will be fun for you and the new fur families.
Such a nice thing you and your neighbor have done. So nice. :):):love:
