Oh Donna my dear friend, my heart is aching for you, i had no idea you were going through the same feelings as myself, after just losing Ash today, i know exactly how you are feeling, but this must have come as such a shock, RIP beautiful Mooshoo, and Donna words alone cannot bring you the comfort you need right now, but i hope it helps to ease your pain,our furbabies will be together at the Bridge by now, i hope they become wonderful friends.

Oh Donna, my heart sank when I read your post!! This must have come as a total shock!! I'm so sorry, I know he was your heart kitty, your soulmate, like my Luna is to me, and I know how incomplete I would be without her! So I guess I know the emptiness your precious boy has left in your heart and soul, especially since there was no way for you to be prepared... :(
Since you were so close, he's probably your little guardian angel now, or his spirit might even decide to come back to you in another form.

I had the privilege of meeting The Moo-man in person, in Michigan.
I held him, I felt his suede-like skin. I cuddled his 'hot water bottle' like body.
I will never forget the experience. Such a wonderful creature.:love:
He left this world quickly, he did not linger. He knew it was best that way, even if there were no Goodbyes, he knew to stay any longer would mean to suffer. He is now painfree, and seeing with new eyes too.
He's looking at his loving mama, with love and clarity like never before. :love:
I've said it before, there is a special bond between a heart cat and their human. It transcends time and space. It will always be.
Moo, your mama needs a sign. Let her know that you are o.k. and waiting for her. Send her soft reminders, when she feels something soft rub against her, that you are with her, just unseen.

I cannot believe I am reading this. :(:( MooShoo was by far the most charismatic cat on Pet Talk, and although I never had the chance to meet him in person, I felt that he was close to my heart.
Donna, I am so sorry this had to happen at a time that is meant to be joyous. Stay strong, and know that those 10 years of MooShoo's life were years of contentment. My thoughts are with you.

Oh no, Donna! I'm in complete shock! I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I remember meeting Moo and noticing how very dog like he was. He liked car rides, being dressed up, and he loved you so, so much. What a wonderful life he had with you, you were SO good to him. I know how much you loved him, how special he was, and how he was your soul-mate kitty.
I'm so sorry for not seeing this sooner. I hope you are finding at least some comfort with each passing day. I know you'll miss Moo like crazy, but he's in a safe place and he can run, play, and SEE now, and you know he'll be jumping into your arms again when you are reunited in heaven.

Donna, I have lost my soul kitty before, and felt the anguish that went along with losing her, but I can't say that I know how you feel, we all have different feelings about these situations. I just know that you are hurting an awful lot right now. I hope and pray that the pain goes away. Just know that you are in my prayers and thoughts.

Thanks Tray. Right now I just don't know what I'm feeling. I think it's gonna get worse before it gets better, especially once I get his ashes back. It was that way with Mollie Rose. I just balled my eyes out everytime I thought that my beautiful baby was in that urn.
But I've got a TON of friends here that will help me get through this most difficult time. I thank you all again so much for your kind words and support. You all mean so much to me, just as MooShoo and Clare did. I just want you to know that.
My friend Susie had me over for "lupper" (in between lunch and supper) to eat all the leftovers in her fridge. She's on her way to FLA till Friday. I told her I wanted a birthday cake, that I hadn't had one in YEARS. "But, I have cookies and other googies to eat!!" she said. I told her I hadn't had a g-d birthday cake in years and I was gonna buy one. I now have HALF of a DQ Strawberry Shortcake birthday cake in my fridge.
Comfort food. Nothing like it!
oh i agree Donna i had my comfort food in the weekend as well,I am still thinking of you and hoping each day will be come easier for you and me and Slick and everyone else out there going through the same thing.

Donna, When we talked the other night I didn't know about MooShoo. A few things you said made me wonder but somehow I just couldn't ask. I hope you'll forgive that.
It has been said that our deepest feelings are the hardest to express. That must be true because I just can't find the words to tell you how deeply saddened I am over MooShoo. He knew you loved him beyond measure, no kitty could ever have a more perfect life.
There's no question about it, MooShoo loved you too. He showed it in ways you might not have noticed at the time. Keep those special moments in your heart.
RIP sweet MooShoo. Your friends on PT will miss you very much. Watch over your Meowmie and give her a purr now and then.

I'm sobbing uncontrollably right now. I drove in the snow and picked up MooShoo's cremains. When I took them out, they were in a plastic bag - THEY DIDN'T EVEN PUT HIM IN A FREAKING URN!!!!!! They just rolled the plastic bag up as if it were a bag of dope and slapped a label on it!!!:(:(:(:(
So I'm sitting on the couch with them wrapped up in his favorite "Tigger" baby blanket and can't stop crying. This is such an unbelievably sad, depressing moment for me. I hurt SOOOO much.
My precious boy, play hard and know that there will never EVER be another MooShoo.
See you again at the bridge "one fine day".

I am just seeing this thread now. I am so sorry for the loss of your MooShoo. There are no words at a time like this, I know what you're going thru. Many of us have gone thru it before but we cannot share what you're going thru right now. Again so very sorry.
Donna, I am so so sorry about MooShoo. I am so in shock, 10 years old is not very old and even though Cairo is not very old at all I am going to start worrying about her. I don't know what to say other than you are in my thoughts and I am sorry.

They have jewelry they can make from your pet's DNA. I'm going to look into that eventually. Right now I can't think about it.
I was on the phone to my friend Dorothy, who adopted Ari. She shed some light and made me feel quite better, although I don't know how long this aura will last.
She told me that a native American once told her that animals do not die. They simply travel over to a better place, hence the Rainbow Bridge, where they are all whole, happy, healthy, just waiting for their owners to come.
That's what I believe happens. It doesn't help a whole heck of a lot for awhile, but eventually you feel better and happy that they are in a safe, happy, place where there is no more pain. You know they are all planning a big Welcome Home Mom party for you, don't you?:)
Oh Donna I am so sorry. It's always hard to loss a loved one. I am sitting here crying becouse I know your pain. I still cry every time I think of my Patches and she has been gone almost 7 years now.
Just remember that MooShoo had a higher calling and will see you at the bridge when the time is right.
