Connor turned 2 months this past Friday (4-23-10). He is starting to smile when he's awake and is more interested in the lights on his bouncy seat. He was 10 lbs 8 oz on the 14th at his follow up appt for his surgery. His 2 month well baby visit is on the 3rd. I have attached a few pics.
Awww, he's a cutie! Looks like he'll be a sturdy little boy!
We found out yesterday that the baby is a boy.. He was measuring 20 weeks and 1 day, and weighs 12 oz.

I must have missed Connor's 2 month pictures before, but he is really cute! Isn't it wonderful when they start smiling? How is he doing after his surgery?
Thanks Jill! Connor is doing really good after his surgery, it's a complete change in how he was. He is happily eating all of his formula and asking for more at times.
Just wanted to give a quick update- Christopher was born at 12:53 am on Saturday, May 22. He's a BIG boy (was over due) weighing 9 pounds, 12 ounces and measuring 22 inches long.
I'll post his birth story and pictures soon.

Here are some new pictures of Tyler. Tyler is crawling around like crazy and pulling herself up into standing positions (using furniture etc). Her vocabulary has gone wild the last few weeks, she is so so funny. She waves hello and buh-bye. And though she is still nursing, she is eating so many different types of solid foods now. Her favourite food is papaya, and her least favourite is green beans. Her two bottom teeth broke through over the weekend, and my poor baby has not enjoyed the process; But she's dealing with it really well.

I found out that Mike's brother's wife is having a BOY and he is due in October! So exciting. It is their third child, along with two little boys! Oh boy I can't imagine the craziness in their house as they get older!! I am excited.. I feel like a aunt to these boys. :)
I'm 5 days away from my due date.. Seems the baby is going to be late though.. I haven't dilated any at all.. My next doctors appointment is on the 16th.. My due date.. But if I don't go in to labor by the 22nd I am going to be induced..

Hang in there, baby will arrive when the time is right! My friends ended up having to be induced with their first child, when they did an ultrasound 6 days after Michelle's initial due date, the ultrasound tech said, "Well, she looks comfy!" to which Michelle said "That's it, time to induce!"

Aw! Hang in there! My first baby came a week before his due date, my second came a week after his.
I just realized I never posted Topher's birth story... oops!
I'll give you a quick rundown of the event. My water broke around 1 pm on May 21 and we called my midwife. She came to check me and said I was already a few cm dilated, but my contractions hadn't started yet, so she left and came back later. It wasn't until around 10 pm (9 hours later) that my contractions finally started, but they were pretty mild. A little after 11 pm they started picking up and around 12:15 I started pushing. He was born at 12:52 am on May 22.

Oh, Kari - Topher is soooo fair, his hair is almost white! What a cutie, but you knew that!
Yeah, Karen, he is really fair. Nathan was/is too. Both boys had very a small amount of white-blonde hair. Nathan's has darkened a little, but it's still pretty light. I bet Topher's hair will do the same.

It'll be interesting to see how it changes as they grow! We have one family at my church where there are two boys and a baby sister - all three started out with fine golden hair, the younger boy's hair has darkened to light brown, the older boy's is still very light, and baby sister currently has golden blonde hair, but she's only 18 months, so we'll see! Their Dad's hair is coal black, none of the kids got that!Quote:

Ah, babies. I just browsed through this and it's all so wonderful watching the babies develop and grow, inside and out! ;) I may go find Clara's thread and update a little on that...or maybe just the 2009 Pregnancy one haha. ;)
No baby... My due date came and went..
I went to the doctor earlier and I am dilated 1 cm, and his head is low in my pelvis. So all the walking I have been doing lately has made some progress.. But I'm still not having any contractions or other symptoms that it will be soon.
If I don't go in to labor by next Wednesday I have to be induced that day.. The hospital I am delivering at doesn't let you go past 41 weeks. I am praying, hoping, and keeping everything crossed that I go before then because I really don't want to be induced.
I just want him to come out!
Just for the record, don't stress too much if you have to be induced. I was induced twice. It really wasn't that bad. That said, I know you don't want to wait until Wednesday.Quote:

Lane was born on September 22nd at 6:08 PM.. He weighed 6 lbs 14 oz, and was 20 1/4 in long. He's now over a month old and at his last doctors appointment this past Friday he was 7 lbs 8.5 oz and 22 in long.
