How come that's called Hurricane Cake? Any idea? Doesn't seem like something you could make if the power was out, or featuring much in "tropical" ingredients ...
Good question-all??
Now, really, g'night!
"I just have had a funk for the last few days. Life interrupted."
Well, then, barkeep - let me get YOU a hurry-cane! Anything serious?
Oh, no, not that!! You'll need something stronger! Have a shot of whiskey with the hurry-cane!
Sad that a little girl died watching the hurricane in Maine. Rest in peace, Clio. Several people were washed off a ledge while watching the storm. Her father and another man were rescued, and others clawed their way back onto the rocks, but she was just 7 years old, and likely just to small to withstand the heavy surf.
Very sad.
Let's have a moment of silence for her here, okay?
RICHARD, could I have a DOUBLE hurricane, please? I'm beginning to gather together the things I want to take with me. The big move should happen about next monday or tuesday.
