You're getting closer to catching her, so that's a good sign.
Sounds like she's trying to test your patience and outsmart you too!

I don't mean to laugh, but I did find it funny that she was sitting there watching you as you were setting up the trap. What a little devil is right!
Prayers on the way that you are able to catch Mandy and that she remains safe and sound til then.
This is great news! Your getting closer and closer to catching her.
Mandy, come home. Meowmie misses you.
Looked out the window this afternoon, and there she was, sniffing around the trap, jumping backwards, sniffing again. Odd.
So I went out to look. My LACEY was sitting trapped inside! :D Of course, all the cat treats, tuna and other treats were gone.
Gosh, this is hilarious, as long as Mandy stays safe and ends up inside eventually.

I do hope you get Mandy back sooner then later, but thats just funny.
I want her to be safe, of course, but it's hilarious to log on and see what she's done next. :)
I agree with Mary - this is so funny. I have to come here first to see what antics she is up to.
And poor Lacey must have wondered what the heck happened....
Mandy is having a grand old time at the expense of others. What a little stinker! :p
Marlin got me up for his usual 5 AM trip outside, and he stopped and looked at the trap. (He normally ignores it.) So I went over and sure enough, there was my very ticked off Mandy sitting inside! Oh her face said it all, she was P - O'd! lol.
Brought her in and set the trap in the spare room / sewing room, which has litter boxes and water in there ( it is a "cat" room, baby gate to keep the dogs out) and returned to bed. Not before I saw Chaplin, her partner in crime, hop the gate and go over to smell her.
Lated, after I got up and had my coffee (I am NOT a morning person!) I decided to tackle her. She had been meowing at me since I got up. I took the trap in the bathroom, got her out, clipped her nails, checked her over. She is fine, and no ticks! (My dogs are picking them up even in mthe back yard.) She did scrape her head trying to get out of the trap, nothing drastic, a bit of Vaseline and that will heal with time.
Set her free in the same room, closed the door, let her adjust some more. She hurried under the futon in there.
Mandy's little walk about adventure is OVER! Whew!
Thanks so much for all the support, PT is wonderful.
I wish I could've seen Mandy's facial expression inside the trap. I'm glad she's safe and sound, though, and back where she belongs. Whew! :)
Yay! I'm glad she's home.
Bet, you are going to be given dirty looks for a few days. :D
Thank goodness!!!!!
I'll bet she's gonna be one p.o.'ed pussy for a while. :p
Great news!! I'm glad she's back home. :D
Wonderful news! Welcome home, dearest Mandy!:love::love::love::love::love::love:
WOOHOO!
Would have loved to see her po'd face! Mandy, that's what you get for messin' with your mom's head while she was setting things up! :D
She loves you, sweetie - that's why she did all that.
Let yourself be loved and I hope you settle back into being home soon.
Sandie!!! I am a little late in reading the thread, but when I read that another one of your cats was in the trap, I could not help but laugh!!! I am SO GLAD that Mandy is back INSIDE!!! No more adventures, PLEASE Mandy!!! I am going to light a candle of THANKS!!!
I'm so happy to hear that Mandy was finally caught and that she had no injuries or ticks. I bet she's not laughing at you now.

I have been following this hoping Mandy would be found and then hoping she'd be caught.
Thank goodness she is safely back home.
Note to Mandy: Please don't do this again. Hopefully you realized how good you have it there and do not need to explore the great outdoors anymore.
We are so glad that Mandys home :love: after leading her Meeowmie on a wild goose chase for the past few days.

That reminds me of the time that the Animal Welfare lent me a Humane Trap to catch Pouncer Roccalno, and over a week I caught every stray Cat but her, and had to ser some very irritated Cats free!!!!
:eek::eek::eek:
We are so happy Mnadys home!!!

I've been following this thread and I am happy to hear that Mandy is safely back inside where she belongs.:)
That is too funny that one of your dogs got caught in the trap instead of her.:D
Great news, yea she be POed for a while, at lest you she is safe. Look at this way she's TICKED OFF becouse she went out and got caught. My Patches wouold get ticked off if I went out twice in one day. She would stay that way for days and not come near me.
Hey Sandie - how is Mandy doing? Is she settling back in okay? (little stinker)! :p
Mandy is well. I was concerned that she may hang out by the door and try to escape; she is not interested.
She is calmer than before. I guess being outside wasn't all the fun the she thought it would be! :p
