Glad to0 hear Dyna came through the surgery. Prayers continue for a full recovery
Andrew got to the vet's office much later than planned. There were horrible thunderstorms on the way. The vet tech was ever so nice. We took her out to dinner to kill time after Andrew called to say he was running behind. He finally got there at 8! He spent about an hour with Dyna. She really perked up when she knew he was there. She can't see or hear very well, but she knew that was her boy!!!
We brought Dyna home on Saturday at noon. She is very sweet and is slowly recovering. Marth is a first grade teacher and has gotten special permission to bring Dyna to work with her. Dyna needs antibiotics and pain medicine for a bout a week or so and Martha works too far to be able to go back and forth during the day. So, Dyna will be going to work and hanging out with the kids. She has gone to class before and the kids just love here. They know she is old and fragile and they are very careful with her.
Thanks everyone for your prayers. Dyna has a long way to recovery, but it looks like she is going to be OK!
And ever so glad Andrew got to see her that night and she was happy to see him! I bet that was a great reunion:)
Isn't is wonderful that she can go to work with Martha? This all makes me so happy!

GREAT NEWS! How wonderful to know that the sweet old lady is on her way to recovery. With so much love around her, and now even the kids at school, she should be like new in no time. We will keep her in our thoughts.
I'm glad she's home and mending albeit slowly, but who really cares as long as she mends.
Thanks for updating us Souraya even though you are truly truly busy.
I'm so late and seeing this...... but so HAPPY that Dyna is recovering well. What a trooper she is.
I am really glad Andrew got to see Dyna and that she is home recovering now. I think it is wonderful that she get to go to school with Martha!!! :D
I will try to get a picture of her. Not sure when I will be back that way. I may ask Martha to take one and send it my way.

Yeah for Dyna! What a strong pup!
that sounds terrible!! I'll definetly be thinking about you and Dyna right now.
Hoping that Dyna continues to do well!!:)
Dyna is doing as well as she can. Martha and I spoke on Tuesday and she said her kids are so happy to have Dyna with them. They are so careful when they pet her and a few have even brought toys for her. Martha told them they couldn't give them to her yet because she wasn't allowed to chew on her jaw yet, But they do help feed her but holding the bag and Martha tube feeds her. She will be able to eat a soft diet on her own in another week :)
Thanks for checking up on her.
This is all very good to hear! I'm glad she's recouping well, sounds like she has a wonderful mom & classroom of kids:)
She is in good hands!!! Hope she recovers quickly!
How's sweet Dyna doing??? You are all in my thoughts.
I haven't spoken with Martha in a few days, but as far as I know she is doing better. She can start eating food today. It will probably have to be puree'd.
No news, is good news, as my mother would always tell me.
Thanks for chekcing up on her, Sue!
Yes, no news is good news! Glad she gets to eat mush today. I'll bet she'll be happy, too! She's in such good hands!
