~Thinking of you all~
I'm sorry:o I didn't even see this thread! I'm glad to hear Max is doing ok so far. Hope the rest of his tests turn out fine. Take Care
Anna
I am so glad max is doing well!!!! He is truly a "Miracle Dog" thank God. It's very scary when your babies get sick. Just went through that for the last 2 days with Phoebe....
Still praying for Max. How's he doing today? Fine, I hope!
Hope Max's better now......
Max is back to his old ornery self!! We have to take him back to our vet in 3 weeks to do another 12 panel test. We truly appreciate all your good thoughts. He is just hysterical. He jumps around like he weighs 5 pounds and is about 3 months old. His mood is totally different now. Hopefully the tests will come back better next time, although they weren't too terribly concerned yesterday.
So pleased to hear the good news. :) Hugs to Max.
Good news! Glad to hear he is back to his original self!!! :D
So glad to hear that he is acting so well!! Hope the next panel is nothing to worry about, too!!
I'm so glad to hear that Max is back to his old self. I hope he continues to do well and that the next panel comes back normal. :)
GREAT NEWS!!!
{{hugs}}
So glad that Max is back to his old self! Let us know how his next panel goes. Give Max lots of hugs and kisses!
Yeah Max! :D
It's nice to know that Max, M.D. (miracle dog), is back to his old self. Thanks for keeping us updated.
Max, we are so glad you are well again!
Thanks guys!!
Max M.D. eh...geez if I tell him that it may go to his head, he may think he's a doctor now and deserves to ride around in a Lexus or something like that...oh the possibilities!! lol
Thinking of Max. I hope he is still feeling well! Let us know the test results when he goes back in a few weeks!
He goes back on the 3rd of October, so we'll see what happens. I just can't imagine anything being too tragic the way he's running around like a little banchee.
Molly,
I'm very happy to know that Max is acting & feeling
so well after the terrible accident. I have been checking
in and following his progress from the beginning. I wish
him the very best of luck on his upcoming test in Oct. Max
and all the gang are always in my prayers. Hugs to all. Liz.
Glad to hear dat Max's doing well. :)
Holy Beecheezes! How did I miss this thread!?!?!?
Max! You gave me a scare! Don't do that to your mommy and daddy ever again!
I'm so glad to hear you are doing better. :)
So Kim, you missed all the fun eh?? lol We hope that the creatin and albumin is going to be normal next time. If not, I guess we go from there...but they didn't seem to be terribly concerned.
Hi, mugsy, Max should be going back for his tests about now, right? How's he doing?? Thinking of him! Please keep us posted. Good luck, Max!!!
Wow Sue, I'm impressed that you're keeping such close track of our baby boy....Thanks! His appointment got changed to the 10th because Dr. B is out of town today (which was the original appointment). Which is actually ok since the 10th is the day that Rinny gets neutered so I can kill two birds with one stone.
And to answer your question...he's doing great. He's sooooo funny to watch. He jumps all over the place (off of all 4s) when we're passing out treats, but when we tell him to sit, he sits immediately and looks all angelic and waits for the treat!! lol
How's Killi doing today??
Yay Max! I'm happy to hear he's being the bouncey, energetic pup he should be. :D
Glad to hear that Max is feeling so good!! That's a good sign!! He must be a riot. I can picture it-flying dog! So Rinny goes in for the snip on the 10th, too. Good luck, guys!!
Killi's ok. He's still not his old self, but at least he is getting better. Thanks for asking!
Geez Sue, it's the least I can do since you keep such close tabs on mine!! I just hope Killi can bounce back the way Max has. I'll keep him in my prayers (as always)
Hope everything goes well at the vet today for all your guys!! Let us know!!
I'm so glad to hear Max is doing so well:) Hope the vet visit went well! Hugs to you Max and all your many siblings!!
Dr. B drew blood today and said the results would be back from the lab on Monday. Till then, we wait and see. He was absolutely nuts in the car tonight, so he's definitely feeling ok! lol
Paws crossed for some ***stellar*** lab results!! Max, behave yourself!:D
Paws crossed here, too, for Max!! :D
I'm so glad to here that Max is feeling much better. I also hope that the blood work comes back normal. All fingers and paws are crossed here too. Good luck. :)
Hope the tests come back normal! Glad to hear that Max is his oldself again!! :D
Lots of tail wags and kisses from Kia. She hopes Max's test come back normal too. :)
Mike talked with the vet tech. and she said that Dr. B got the results back and all is normal :D :D :D . He also stated to her that if he did not know the background he would thought that nothing had happened. Max is truly our miracle dog.
Thank you all for your prayers (Mike thinks it was his prayer that did it but, I don't think I would call it a prayer.) when we really needed them. Even though Mike is not posting he really does apprieciate all your support through this ordeal. I have read him some posts and he reads some of the others. So as far as the kendall house hold the dogs are healthy and that makes the buget for the vet bills a little easier.
Again from Mike and I Thank you!!!!
Glad to hear everything turned out fine with the tests!! Way to go Maxey boy!!
I am so very, very glad that Max is fine!!!! Woohoo!!!! I have been so worried that the Ibuprofen could have caused damage to his kidneys.
From the ASPCA poison contol website:
Less than one regular strength ibuprofen (200mg) could cause stomach ulcers in a 10lb dog, and about six could cause kidney failure.
When Avalanche was in her end year, nothing would relieve her arthritis except Ibuprofen, a drug not recommended for dogs. However, her life would have been miserable (or impossible) without it. She lived painfree for a while, til her kidneys were affected when she was 12 1/2, already old old for a Great Pyr. So now you can see why I was so greatly concerned for Max's health. I rejoice with you that Max is healthy!! Miracles do happen!!!
That's wonderful news!!:D Way to go Max. May you live a long and happy life. :)
