A coworker & I ran through a large mall looking for the 1 item I wanted to buy my swapper. We spent 1.5hrs running in & out of stores to find this item. I couldn't believe how hard it was to find! Then when we came to the last of the stores we found it!!! It was nearly 3 times the price I was expecting to pay for that kind of item, but it was a near perfect match, so I couldn't resist :D :eek:

My car bit the dust yesterday so mine got sent out a day late. :( BUT...I shipped it express so hopefully it will still get there quickly.
I shipped mine Friday and thought that Greyhound would take 2 days. Not any more! 5 days, maybe 10. :eek::eek: When did THAT happen?
Anyway, I hope the 4th is shipping date and not arrival deadline! Swap person, yours IS on its way...hopefully you will get it at your door next week.
I didn't get a chance to send mine out yesterday. Worked from 7am-4pm, then went to the hospital.

So glad it finally got there! :) After the trouble you had receiving cards in the card swap, I worried! I look forward to the pictures. I didn't go overboard, I promise! I pick things up when they are on sale all year 'round, so some of my "shopping" just involved checking the stash!
I couldn't make it to the post office in time on Saturday, and Sunday it was closed.. so the package will be sent out today :) Hope customs doesn't hold onto it too long!
I'm in the same boat. I wasn't expecting to leave at 9am on sat to go out for the day, I thought we were leaving at noon, which would have given me an hour to mail the parcel... Sun is a HECK NO I'm not mailing it.. it just sits in the postal outlet & its too easy for sticky fingers! (worked in the PO for 3.5yrs, so I know about the evil sticky fingers!!).Quote:

The parcel from my swapper is here! Well not with me yet, they failed at delivering it & I'll blame it on them being drunk lol Anyways this is driving me INSANE! We are all a bunch of procrastinators. ; ) I thought the UPS store was open until 5 on Saturday... but they closed at 3 for some reason. So, I had to send mine on Monday, too. I hope it arrives safely.
