I used to do that too, but my barn and 4-H stuff is 25 miles away and there is no public transportation in between here and there. Gas hit $4 a gallon here today! :(

Here's my dream car:

And am I spoiled in that it's mine! :p:D
But nothing makes me green with envy quite like a well built desert truck:
http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l8...31/Misc/13.jpg
500+ horse power, 23+ inches of suspension travel, and a roll cage; is there anything better? ;)
My dream car is one that's easy on gas and is one good looking car and I already own it, my 2007 chevy cobalt! However If I can dream on, I can say that I always loved my brother's two collector's cars. Number one is an original dark blue 1967 Shelby mustang and number two is his original 1970 maroon Corvette convertible either one of which I'd like to own!
Even though i do not drive i still have a dream car, here it is the Chrysler 300c 3.5 v6, it only sells for a mere 26.000 pounds in the uk, so around 40-50 thousand here in nz i am guessing, but i love it.

Ah, I owned one of these in red, I saw one at a shop this morning....It got me hot.:D
I think this qualifies as a dream car....( in my dreams, my uncle would give it to me!!!)

The specs on this bad boy can be found here. Check out the rest of the site...you'll find out that this bike is one of the SLOW ones
Oh my,
Neat bike!
Look up the Dodge Tomahawk- It was a m/c that was built around a Dodge Viper v-10 engine....:D

Aww the video is no longer available....I've seen what you're talking about though.
Something that weighs less than 500 lbs shouldn't have over 500 horsepower...but it's sure fun when it does! :D
Nissan Rogue SL AWD
These are nice...

DJFyrewolf36 here is a tidbit of info on Lamborghini. They have been bankrupt or near bankruptcy many time in their history. In 1997 they sold only 264 cars in their entire lineup. Audi took over in 1997 and they have increased sales every year and will sell 2000+ cars world wide in 2010. The Audi R8 and the Lambo share powerplants. They are still made in Italy but are managed by Germans and are powered by German engines.
Nope, not into new cars.
I owned an Austin Healey Sprite (Frogeye, Sprog) years ago, and I'm looking for another to do up and put back on the road.
I love them to bits.

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...04/Sproggy.jpg
The bugeye sprite is one of my favorites. I owner one like the white one. I
loved every thing about it but the transmission. They did not synchronize low gear so I ended up chipping it, so I had to pull the engine to repair the transmission,
In the older sport cars this was my favorite. Sunbeam Tiger. I owned one just
like this one, Mine had the ford 289 instead of the 260. love to have it back.

I had a red one. I think the gearboxes in them are a bit suspect, as I had trouble with mine to. Not in low gear tho....mine wouldn't stay in top gear, it kept jumping out every time I accelerated. I ended up improvising, and had a little leather strap that I screwed into just behind the gear lever, and everytime I'd go into top gear, I would slip the little strap over the stick to hold it in place....I was a master at it after a while, never even had to look down at it.
Yeah I remember them, they were a little bigger than the Austin Healey Sprite with the MG body. Never drove one, but seen a few of them on the road.
One of my favourites was the Subaru Vortex, I had one of those for about 8 years, bought it in 1999, and sold it only a few years ago now. I loved that car, so smooth to drive, and the turbo was unreal.....really made them move along. And the air suspension....pure magic.
http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...004/Vortex.jpg
If I could choose two cars, it would be a Range Rover and an Austin Healey. I quite like the Mini Cooper too.
My present car is a 2002 Audi A4 Avant. I love this car because it handles like a sports car and is great to drive in bad weather because of the all wheel drive.
Mine is just like this one except the wheels. I like my wheels better. Koko likes it because when we are in the PARK she can ride with her head out the sun rool:D

My next car will probably be another Audi. i am leaning toward an A3 TDI。I had a VW Jetta TDI that I really liked so an AUDI TDI will be even better.
http://microsites.audiusa.com/ngw/10...-front3qrt.jpg
Kokopup, I like your present car better than the "next" one. ;) Audi's are good solid cars!
That's the reason why the Vortex was so good to drive, it was AWD to.
Never leaned much towards the Audi's.....don't know why, maybe it's the body shapes that they come out with that puts me off. We all have our favourites tho. The new Holden Calais, and the Holden Statesman are good cars, if I get another newy soon, it'll probably be one of those.
But at the moment we are sticking to what we have, as it only takes 10 minutes in any direction to reach the boundaries of the city I live in. (No such thing as peak hour traffic here). The wife has a new Hyundai, the daughter a Ford hatchback, and I still drive my Ford utility...three vehicles in this place is overkill....LOLOL.
I have owned more cars than I can count and sold or traded them all without hesitation. I am so attached to this car I think I will keep it even if I buy an A3. My wife has a new Mazda6 Sportwagan and my 8 year old Audi is more solid an runs better than her new car. When I close my doors all you hear is a solid thump. When I close her doors I always feel like it didn't close all the way. When it is bad weather her car is all over the road and my Audi is straight arrow and solid. There is no comparing the two cars.

We have the Largest most automated Hyundai plant in the world just down the road from here. I'm not sure what they make there. They just announced a plant expansion to set up a new model. The Holden is imported to the US and rebadged as a Pontiac G8. Since Pontiac was Killed by GM the Holden will be imported for Police duty only. I'm not sure what they will call it.Quote:

Oh i am so in love with that Audi,so cute, i am fond of these cars.,they start at 55,000 dollars here and that is a big special deal, normally $88,000.

I love German cars...most euro cars are nice really. I haven't been impressed with US super car offerings such as the Viper or Ford GT (the GT is way better than the Viper handling wise IMO) but they are nowhere near the handling level of euro super cars.

Your car called the Vortex in Australia and NZ was the XT for the opposed 4 and the XT6 for the Opposed 6. Both cars were turbocharged. Nice symmetrical AWD system. It is different in the Audi & VW since Symmetrical is mostly Mechanical in nature while the Audi AWD system has 7 computers controlling the system. There is something to be said for simplicity since I messed mine up once by removing the cover from my cabin filter and not replacing properly. It had a heavy rain and the lose cabin filter cover allowed water to flood my floorboard. Guess where one of my computers was. Right under my passenger floor carpet. I was able to find one on ebay for $200 other wise $1400 from dealer.:mad:Quote:

It was in limp mode so I just had to wait until the new unit came.

I know nothing about Vauxhall cars....I saw a film clip of this car on Top Gear.
This car was LIMITED at 155 miles an hour....this was a rocketship.....

Engine
Layout V8 , 6162 cc
Max power 425 bhp at 6000 rpm
Max torque 405 lb ft at 4400 rpm
-----------
Is anyone else salivating over the Audi R8?
Subaru never actually made many of the Vortex, so they are a pretty rare car here. I read that it was Subaru's first go at a sports coupe, so they put everything into them. They had every feature inbuilt into them.
AND, what may interest you, was the inside dashboard and controls...evidently Subura at the time were making aeroplanes, and the dash of the Vortex was very similar to look at, and built along those lines.
But I loved that car to bits. I wish now I never sold it.

I am not fond of the 'rounded' style car bodies, but this car revs my engine.:D

How about an Audi R8 Spyder It has a V10 525 HP Lamborghini powerplant
Audi owns Lamborghini so the Lamb engine is really an Audi (GERMAN) engine.

You might like the All Carbon fiber R8 Razor GTR with the 525 HP (Both CARS ARE ALL WHEEL DRIVE)

Yellow 2010 Camaro, preferably a Convertible

I like a lot of other cars too, but this is my current favorite
This is an old thread but I started it so there. :p
I want this:

1989 Audi Quattro! What they used in Ashes to Ashes.
But of course I'll be settling for much less. I'm just hopeful they'll finance me for the 2000 Saturn SC 3 door I'm going to look at on Saturday.

I HATE cars and how they make us treat each other. We are at our worst behind the wheel.
