Hi there sweet, sweet Miz Sophie. We know you're getting ready for your trip to the white coats....just wanted you and your Mom to know how much we love you. We're thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers. Star says she's gonna hold her breath and keep everything crossed, even her eyes, until she hears back from you. Hugs and cuddles to you Sophie!!:)
Hi guys,
THANK YOU once again for all the warm wishes & prayers.
I was doin' pretty good on holdin' back the tears till I saw the pic of my bunners asleep. That has GOT to be one of my all-time pics of her--it just pulls the ol' heartstrings! I love her so much!!
And a prayer vigil? You guys are ... wow, I'm speechless. I'm VERY VERY appreciative but speechless just the same. I think Miz Gini said it best-- I'm surprised that everyone is so lovingly supportive of a bunny that they've never even met!!
Right now she's eatin' hay in her cage (she just had a nice round of "toss the litterpan & make a mess cause Mom just vaccumed." lol)
A little more than 2hrs to the vet appointment.... I have knots in my stomach.

Hey, Sophie sweetie, just talked to God while you are at the white coats like I promised. I told Him this morning a whole bunch of us who loved a certain bunny would be dialing Him up today. He assured me He has control of things and since He watches the sparrows, He will for sure, watch after a favorite bunny and her Mom.
Keeping you close in our thoughts, Dear Mz. Sophie....
and our little bunny toes crossed for you.
Just checking to see if there was any news yet.
I'm going to apologize upfront--I've had to skim over most of the new replies--I'm about to lose it. I know they are soo filled with LOVE but I've got to stay "together" until after the interview.... after the interview, I'm printing them out and having a crying fest! lol
SOPHIE IS OK!!!!
*sigh* of relief.... A HUGE--ENORMOUS sigh of relief!!
He doesn't really know what they are but is almost 100% sure that it's nothing to be worried about. Because the lumps are about the same size/length/shape/position, he feels that it is some sort of fat deposit--probably not the fatty tumors but something along that line. He said b/c she is "normal" in her other habits, he really didn't see any reason to put her through the stress of a biopsy, etc.
The vet & vet tech had a good laugh--everytime he/they tried to handle her, she'd escape, run over to me, put her paws on my shoulder, & burry her face in my neck. The vet said, "Well, we know who HER owner is, don't we?!" lol
I'm OVERJOYED that he thinks it's nothing to be worried about, but at the same time, I think I'd feel better if I could "feel" them on another rabbit. One of mom's schoolkids lives on a farm w/ (meat) rabbits---she's going to ask if they have any that are about Soph's age & if it'd be ok for us (mom and myself) to pay a visit. (I don't know really know how I feel about going to see :( *meat*:( rabbits, but....)
THANK YOU for your prayers and well wishes!!!! They helped more than you could ever imagine!
Now, I've got change & run off to an interview...
With pretty big tears in my eyes I say to you - you are more than welcome for the prayers and worry!!
I think I shared with you Tonya, my story from Ohio when my Dad and older brother caught the rabbit during the winter in the storm drain. And what we had for dinner that night.
Never, ever have I been able to eat rabbit. Just one of those traumatic things that happens to you when you are a kid and it stays with you!!
THANK YOU, GOD!! FOR TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF OUR SOPHIE AND MIZ ZIPPY-KAT.
Hip Hip Horray!!! Our favorite Mz. Sophie Bunz is OK! I am thrilled, Tonya. I have been thinking about her all day, but did not have time to post while at work. I also wish you luck in your interview. I sure do hope you get that job.
Oh, and that pic of Sophie sleeping is priceless. I want to squeeze those chubby little bunny cheeks and kiss those sweet little bunny ears!
WOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEE!! Oh, Tonya, Miz Sophie, we're crying tears of joy for you both!!! We prayed SO hard, right to the time we read your terrific message!!! Now, don't worry; we'll all do the "happy tears" thing for you! You go get em at the interview!!! I know you're going to bowl em over! Give tons of love and hugs and kisses to Miz Sophie from all of her long distance honorary PT Moms!!! Love, Sandra and the Furkids

Hope your interview went well too!:)
*she'd escape, run over to me, put her paws on my shoulder, & burry her face in my neck*...
Oh, that is just too sweet for words. Such good news that the lumpy bumpies are no big deal. Prayers of gratitude on the agenda for tonight!
If you need any references for that job application, there is a line of folks here willing to attest to your compassion, dedication, organizational skiils and character. I'm at the head of the line.

Man guys, I don't even know exactly where to begin...
First and foremost, thank you all for your lovely responses. They mean so much to me & were of great help during this stressful time. Ya'll really went overboard and I appreciate it so much! When helping others, we tend to always say, "Oh it was nothing," but it IS something...you just never realize it until you are on the receiving end.
I just snapped a photo of what could be a leading contender for the world's most content bunster. At the time I write this, imagestation is down. I hope that I've made the file small enough for it to upload onto PT. If not, hopefully imagestation will be back up in the morning.
Thank you all once again.
Love always,
Tonya & Sophie Bunnie, "The Princess of Parsley"
This was the first thread I rushed to see this morning. Then I cried, I was so happy to get good news, what an enormous relief this is! Tonya, I'm sure you are extremely happy! I'm so glad 'our' bunster is healthy, and she can continue now to entertain you (and us too). I love that pic you posted, it's cute!!!
Welldone Sophie, glad you are okay!
Here's some cyber hugs and kisses to you both!
I'm sooooo glad to hear everything is well with Miz Sophie! Someone said it before, but I think here at Pet Talk we have a direct link to god, and he takes care:)
I hope things went well for you at your interview Tonya!
BTW....Sophie looks so content in that pic you posted, give her a big smooch for me (and maybe a little extra parsley, just for being such a great bunny)!!!
Anna{{{Hugs}}}
I second that Thank Goodness everything is ok!

Soph wants to know if she can have a double?! lol
How is poor Casey? Is the infection gone--did you decide to keep her?
Sophie can have anything she wants!!!!!
Yes, I've kept Casey and the results are mixed about her eye.
Her left eye gets a periodic infection and that has cleared up.
However the right eye has an abcess in one of the eye lids and the vet says nothing can be done about it, except to clean it twice a day and give her antibotics. She's such a nice bunny and a very old one as well...I want her to live out her life as comfortable as we can make it and be loved as much as possible.
I think she may miss her firends at the sanctuary but I do let her run around with my kids so she's not shut off from companionship.
Because of the abcess and having to clean it so often (and it IS gross) she's taken to staying in my lap after we get done for as much as 45minutes at a time....so we talk and have a bunny massage and the time flies by. She really is a great girl and I'm hoping she'll be around for quite a while.
Thanks for asking about her, I know my reply was kinda long but she is so special! ;)
Yay, yay, yay, yay!!!!!!
I'm so glad Sophie Bunners is OK!!! Yay!
Thanks to God for watching over one of our most favorite bunnies!
God Bless Sophie...and your mommy too! :)
ooooooooooooooooooo miz Sophie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what great news my dear friend miz Sophie !!!!!!!
oh oh , you made my day !!!!
Those humans at Pettalk are fabulous hey , all together they have such great power to get every pet okay with their prayers !!
oh oh !!!
I'm so glad to hear that Miz Sophie is going to be fine. I was thinking about her yesterday but I had a 12 hour day at work and wasn't able to check in at Pet Talk to find out her results. I guess all the praying that the Pet Talkers did must have helped. Now you stay healthy for your Mommy Miz Sophie. Please don't worry her any more. I hope your interview went well too Tonya. :)
I am very sorry to hear about your rabbit. I hope it turns out to be non-cancerous! I have a rat,Oreo, and she developed a huge tumor, the size of a tangerene, right on her butt- between her legs. She is still happy, zippy, eating, tinkling, poopooing etc. We would have it removed but it would cost over $200.00- and she could have a hard recovery/die from all the drugs. So we said forget it. If it gets way really bad, then me might. Anyhow, I hope your rabbit will be ok!
